Continuity mistake: When Jaden draws the Fusion Gate card, in the close-up shot of the card, it is facing toward him. In the next shot, the card is facing away from him and is also held differently (so that Jaden can place it on the duel disk). (00:14:00)

Other mistake: When the Elemental Hero Sparkman card is shown in Jaden's hand, the card is shaded orange. Monsters that have no special abilities (which Sparkman does not) are shaded yellow, whereas monsters that do have abilities are shaded orange, so there is no reason for the Sparkman card to be shaded orange here. Revealing mistake: When Chazz summons Reborn Zombie in Defence Mode, the monster appears on the duel field, as well as the playing card beneath it, positioned at a horizontal angle, for it to stand on. The card casts a shadow on the ground, but the shadow can be seen lifting above the ground. (00:11:22)

Visible crew/equipment: There is a scene in the Extended Cut that features the dinner scene after Fujiwara arrives at the mansion, where he is shown standing from his chair and saying "Mesmerising. Spellbindingly beautiful" that is repeated in Part Two. Whilst saying the line, a boom mic briefly drops into view above his head. (01:53:35)

Bank Run at Mr. Bank's Bank - S13-E6
Character mistake: When Archer and Ray are being shown the security controls by the bank employee, there is a corkboard on the wall behind them. On the corkboard, there is a paper with the caption with the "Missing - My Favotire Mug." Clearly it is meant to say "favorite", but the R and T were misplaced, resulting in a typo. (00:11:40)

Revealing mistake: When Alexis places her Blade Skater card on her duel disk, there is a brief frame where the cards on her duel disk pass above her hand. (00:13:09)

Continuity mistake: When Jaden is finishing off his painting of Sparkman, in the shot of him saying "It's a work of art. It's pure genius", his left hand is placed against the lower left side of the pad. In the same shot, he brushes a huge smear of red paint against the bottom half of the page. When the shot cuts, his left hand is nearer to the top of the pad, there are now paint smears are now across the top half of the page, and the paint smear along the bottom of the page has disappeared. Continuity mistake: In class, Syrus holds up a painting he made on his notepad for Jaden to see. Take note of the size of the pad, because a couple seconds later, after Jaden's painting of Sparkman is shown, the notepad is suddenly much smaller than it was seconds earlier. (00:01:55)

Character mistake: When Slade is giving Chazz the conditions for the duel, he says "You're only allowed to duel with monsters with less than 500 life points." What he meant to say was attack points, as life points are the amount the duelist has during the duel, whereas attack points are the points that the duel monsters have. (00:04:18)

Continuity mistake: After Bastion tells Jaden duelling is about being the best you can, there is a close-up of him raising his Water Dragon card to him, which is followed by Syrus raising his Power Bond card to him. In this shot, Syrus has his thumb placed over the front of the card. But in the next shot, his thumb is along the side of the card. (00:03:38)
