Other mistake: After Mima sees the CHAM poster has been stuck back to the wall, there is a wide shot of her room. In the shot, there is a calendar on the wall to the left of frame, but the numbers are wrong. After the number 10, the calendar skips straight to 14, missing out 11, 12 and 13. Additionally, the number 21 has been repeated twice on the calendar. (01:09:33)

Continuity mistake: When the stalker has Mima pinned against the floor of the set, in a wide shot, his right hand can be seen holding onto her lower arm. It then cuts to a shot much closer to them where his right hand is now holding onto her hand. (01:04:14)

Revealing mistake: Just after Mima is questioned by the reporters about the murders of the screenwriter and the photographer, the scene cuts to an overview shot of a set inside a studio. In the shot, many of the people on the set are drawn without faces. (00:59:13)

Continuity mistake: When Mima is having tea with Rumi in her apartment, in the shot Rumi tells Mima she was at the apartment yesterday, Mima is shown holding her cup with all of her fingers, but in the next shot, she is only holding the cup with two fingers. (00:54:40)

Continuity mistake: When the elevator door opens on the fifth floor after the screenwriter gets his eyes gouged out, we can see that the light for the number 5 on the control panel beside the elevator is no longer lit when the door opens. But in the next shot, the number 5 is suddenly lit again. (00:42:15)

Other mistake: In the shot where the elevator door opens after the screenwriter hears the music playing, the control panel (for the basement) shows the building goes up to eleven floors. When the elevator opens on Floor 5, we can see the control panel on this floor only goes up to ten floors, despite being in the same building. (00:41:55)

Revealing mistake: When the screenwriter hears the music playing, there is a wide shot of the parking lot he is in. In the shot, many of the number plates on the cars do not have any numbers or letters drawn onto them. There is a white car beside the elevator that has a very faint M and the start of another letter beside it, but is incomplete. And the number plates on the cars facing opposite the screenwriter do not have any numbers or letters at all. (00:41:47)

Continuity mistake: When the screenwriter is in the parking lot waiting for the elevator to arrive, he presses a button and a number on the control panel lights up depending on which floor the elevator is currently on. It then cuts to a wide shot of the parking lot, where none of the numbers on the control panel are lit up. (00:41:45)

Revealing mistake: Whilst they are filming the rape scene, after the director yells cut, he tells the actor playing the rapist to do it faster. The actor who plays the rapist then lifts his head and apologises, and we can see that he has been drawn without a face. (00:33:34)

Continuity mistake: When Rumi is arguing with the producer about Mima's rape scene, whilst she is saying "it's our job to protect the celebrities in our agency and there is no way Mima can do such a thing", Rumi is shown holding a pen in her left hand. The shot cuts to Mima telling Rumi she has made the decision, but when it cuts back to Rumi standing up, the pen has disappeared from her hand. (00:29:42)

Continuity mistake: Whilst Mima is walking down the street, in the shot where she is breathing and then turns her head to look at televisions on display, her arms are at her side. When she is on the television in the next shot, her right hand is suddenly holding onto her bag strap. (00:26:03)

Revealing mistake: When Mima begins performing her final song at the CHAM concert, there is a shot of three audience members at the front talking with one another. In the shot, the stalker character walks into frame. In the first few frames when he first appears, there are two drops of blood on the right hand side of his face. But these drops of blood were not drawn into every single frame of the shot, as they pop off his face mid-way through the shot. (00:08:07)

Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky mistake picture

Continuity mistake: The warden attempts to trap Ricky by pushing a table at him. On the table there is a tray filled with meat from when the warden forced an inmate's arm into a meat grinder earlier in the scene. In the shot where he first pushes the table, the meat in the tray is towards the right hand corner of the tray. Ricky then jumps over the table and the meat is now towards the left hand side.
