Continuity mistake: When the agents are taking Gerald below the bridge to meet with Hillary Clinton, in the angle where Gerald says that he was set up and is not Skanthunt42, the agents grab hold of him and make their way under the bridge. As the shot ends, Gerald and the agents are about to go under the bridge, but in the next shot, they are suddenly further away from the area under the bridge. The shot cuts again and they are suddenly directly under the bridge.

Continuity mistake: When Norm, Olympia and Vera are at Olympia and Vera's apartment, Vera is carrying two grocery bags to put onto the counter whilst Olympia is talking about human activity potentially destroying the Arctic. When Vera puts the grocery bags on the counter, there is nothing shown on the chopping board, but a few shots later, a tomato and an onion have suddenly appeared on the chopping board. (01:03:55)

Plot hole: When Norm is stuck under the satellite tower after disposing of the condos, he has flashbacks to numerous moments earlier on in the movie. One of the flashbacks is of Socrates saluting Norm, but the moment where Socrates salutes Norm did not occur until he was on the cargo ship being shipped off to New York and was something that he did not see Socrates do; there would be no way for Norm to have this flashback. Revealing mistake: The Emir is always shown wearing a black robe with a yellow stripe down each sleeve. When the Emir is telling Tintin it was Bab El Ehr who kidnapped his son, there is a portion of the yellow strip next to the cane he is holding around his elbow, that keeps flickering from yellow to black and back to yellow again. Revealing mistake: When Tintin and Oliviera da Figueria are talking with the guard at the castle door, the guard sneezes and Oliviera takes out a handkerchief saying "Some beautiful handkerchiefs." When Oliviera finishes taking out the handkerchief, as he says "Some", a weird mark appears on the screen, right where the handkerchief is located. Continuity mistake: After Mueller has caught Abdullah, Tintin shoots the lock off one of the cells and hides in it. When he is inside, the bullet damage from when he shot the lock is visible and is coloured green. A few shots later, the damage is suddenly beige and the same colour as the door. Then a few shots after that, the damage is suddenly green again. (00:37:25)

There are oil stains all over one of side of Mueller's jacket and no oil stains on the other side, but after Thompson tells Mueller to get in the car, there are oil stains all over the jacket.
