Continuity mistake: When Jaden is telling Syrus he still lives at the dorm, in the shot of him saying Ra Yellow is nice, there is a still shown at the edge of the bed. Later in the scene, when Jaden is trying to stop Syrus crying on him, the stool is suddenly further from the bed. (00:19:48 - 00:20:21)

Continuity mistake: When Jaden walks into the dorm at the end of the episode, in the shot from above, he leaves his shoes on. A couple of seconds later, when the same shot angle is shown again, his shoes are suddenly off, even though he was never shown taking them off. (00:19:37)

Continuity mistake: At the start of the duel, Jaden draws a card from his deck, which is placed in between two fingers. When the card is revealed to be Winged Kuriboh, it is now placed in between his thumb and one finger. (00:09:57)

Deliberate mistake: There is a shot of Alexis getting blasted with electricity when Etoile Cyber is attacked by Sparkman. This same shot is reused later in the episode when she attacked directly by Elemental Hero Thunder Giant, as the electricity and Alexis' position in the shot is the same. (00:12:20 - 00:18:36)

Other mistake: When Jaden and Syrus enter their dorm room, the curtains are closed, but this doesn't affect the lighting at all. The light isn't switched on, but the room appears exactly as it would if the curtains were open, without appearing dim or darkly lit, and the lighting doesn't change once they open the curtains. She then begins to move her hand away from the door, but when the shot cuts, her left hand is down at her side. (00:19:08)

Continuity mistake: When Poupie says "I couldn't stand her" at the outdoor table, she raises the piece of toast she is holding. In this shot, the toast is level, but when the shot cuts, it is suddenly tilted upward slightly. (01:30:34)
