Monkey See, Monkey Duel - S1-E13
Continuity mistake: After Jaden summons Sparkman to the field and says "Monkey see, monkey do", the shot cuts to Wheeler, before panning over to Jasmine lying on the tree. When the shot cuts to a closer angle of Jasmine, her right hand is suddenly touching onto a branch, even though it wasn't in the previous shot. (00:08:49)

Plot hole: After discovering the cards tossed into the ocean at the docks, Miss Dorothy goes to Jaden's dorm to alert him of this. There was no real reason for her to go to him, seeing as how she had no idea if this incident was tied to him specifically. (00:09:05)

Continuity mistake: When Jaden and Syrus are sitting at the Ra Yellow cafeteria with Bastion, in the shot where Jaden says "Well you deserve it", both he and Syrus have knives and forks in their hands. But in the next shot, the utensils in their hands have disappeared. (00:07:10)

Continuity mistake: When Bastion opens the door to his dorm room to let Jaden and Syrus in, the bag he is holding has a baseball bat sticking out of one side of the bag. A couple seconds later, after Jaden and Syrus have the formulas on the wall, in the shot where Bastion says "Most of these I've memorized", the baseball bat is now sticking out of both sides of the bag. Continuity mistake: Jaden picks up a card Chumley dropped from the tree. When he picks it up, the card is pointed downwards, but when the shot cuts, the card is pointed upwards. (00:03:58)

Continuity mistake: On Syrus' second turn, there is a close-up of the cards in his hand. In his left, we can see five cards and Steamroid and Gyroid are the fourth and fifth card on the right-hand side. A few minutes later, after the flashback to grade school, when Syrus activates Polymerization to fuse the two monsters together, they are now the first and second card in his left hand, on the left-hand side. Other mistake: In the close-up shot of the cards in Jaden's hand on his second turn, it is revealed he drew Elemental Hero Clayman from his deck. The Clayman card is shaded orange, but since Clayman is not an effect monster, it should be shaded yellow. (00:08:26)

In the next shot, the card is suddenly face up and has been replaced with a different one. Then in the shot after that, it is suddenly face up at a different part of the table. (00:02:23)

Continuity mistake: When Jaden is telling Syrus he still lives at the dorm, in the shot of him saying Ra Yellow is nice, there is a still shown at the edge of the bed. Later in the scene, when Jaden is trying to stop Syrus crying on him, the stool is suddenly further from the bed. (00:19:48 - 00:20:21)

Continuity mistake: When Jaden walks into the dorm at the end of the episode, in the shot from above, he leaves his shoes on. A couple of seconds later, when the same shot angle is shown again, his shoes are suddenly off, even though he was never shown taking them off. (00:19:37)

Revealing mistake: When Syrus and Bastion walk onto the arena field to congratulate Jaden, there are extras animated in the background who are cheering yet appear frozen and not moving in any way. (00:18:24)
