Continuity mistake: When Rimmer falls asleep whilst Lister is doing the jigsaw, there is a whisky bottle on the table. Later in the episode, when being viewed on the black box, the whiskey bottle is no longer on the table. Lister could not have thrown it away since he left the table to the Hologram Simulation Suite at The End of the scene. (00:10:20 - 00:19:35)

Revealing mistake: In the opening, Holly gives an additional message saying "On our journey, we have encountered many strange and bizarre things. Only last month, we can across a moon which was shaped exactly like Felicity Kendal's bottom. We flew around that one a couple of times." Before Holly says "We flew around that one a couple of times", he can be seen about to say the line, but visibly hesitates, presumably waiting for his cue. (00:01:35)

Other mistake: The shots of Blue Midget driving back to Red Dwarf that are shown from behind are visibly the exact same shots used each time. This is evident as the driving movements of Blue Midget, its position in the frame, and Red Dwarf's position in the background are all identical each time.

Visible crew/equipment: When Lister steps back inside the observation room after Rimmer leaves, a stage light can be seen reflected in the window-like light fixture on the wall. Continuity mistake: When K hands the hair sample to the clerk at Wallace Corporation, the clerk puts down the note with the serial number for the replicant, and places it on the desk, with part of it positioned in front of the keyboard. From another angle, the note cannot be seen. This could not be due to the clerk's head blocking it, because the note was placed in front of the keyboard, and the keyboard is fully visible in shot with no note visible in front of it. (00:29:45)

Other mistake: When K intercepts Luv's car at the sea wall to rescue Deckard, the two begin shooting at each other, and end up hitting one another. Luv then falls onto a car seat and a huge splatter of blood is left on the seat, but there is no visible wound that can be seen on her that would have been able to produce that amount of blood splatter. Continuity mistake: When the police are examining the bones found in Sapper Morton's locker, when Nandez says "The Soyuz samples indicate she's been buried for thirty years", the shot is focusing on the table with the bones on it. A doctor is examining one of the bones in the background, but in the next shot, he is suddenly holding something with his hands raised away from the table. (00:24:05)

Continuity mistake: When K is at Wallace Corporation, he is standing at the front desk and gives the hair sample from the replicant to the file clerk. After K hands the sample to the clerk, he rests his elbow on the desk, with his forearm placed over the edge, but in the next shot, both his elbow and forearm are resting on the desk. (00:29:50)

Continuity mistake: Lieutenant Joshi is talking with K in her office, instructing him to kill the replicant child, leaning against a window. After K says "To be born is to have a soul I guess", Joshi replies "Are you telling me no?", walking away from the window. K then says he wasn't aware that was an option, and Joshi is suddenly leaning against the window again. (00:27:55)

Continuity mistake: When Dr. Stelline begins designing a memory of a birthday party, after inserting the table and birthday cake, she inserts the birthday girl, followed by two other girls standing beside her, then rotates the table to insert a third girl standing at a different corner of the table, but in the next shot, the third girl standing at the different corner is suddenly standing visibly closer to the other girls. When this happens, Dr. Stelline's reflection can be seen in the window, with her hands at her side, but when the shot cuts to Stelline, she suddenly has one hand on her nose. (01:22:10)
