Continuity mistake: When the Leader comes to, he looks over at the broken case that contained two of the Mandarin's rings, and sees only one, which Hulk picks up and then inadvertently teleports himself and Iron Man to another time with. When Rhodey tells Leader to bring them back, he says he can't do so without the other ring, only for Rhodey to bend down and pick up the second ring from the same spot the first ring was, even though it was shown to be missing moments earlier. Plot hole: The beginning of the episode shows video footage for Dick Clark's telethon of the Fantastic Four battling Namor underwater. However, the Fantastic Four didn't even meet Namor until the third episode of the series. (00:01:00 - 00:02:02)

Other mistake: When Rogue is hovering above Muir Island, she pulls out a book to confirm she's in the right place, and the picture of Muir Island in her book shows it to have three smaller islands on its south side. When she lowers the book to look at the actual island, only the large island shown on the southwest side in the book is there. She's only hovering a few hundred feet above the island, so even though the other two islands were small, they should still be visible. (00:09:48)

Continuity mistake: When Jean telekinetically drives the nails through the wood panel, she drives them through the left and bottom edges. When the shot changes to her driving nails into the top and right edges, the nails at the bottom edge have disappeared. (00:06:34)

Continuity mistake: When the Skrull Emperor is stripping Morrat of his title and ordering him to be put in chains, they are standing a couple steps from each other. A few shots later, they are suddenly further away from each other. (00:19:48 - 00:20:15)

Continuity mistake: When the heroes regroup by the Fantasticar after regaining their powers and taking out a few Skrulls, from the top going clockwise, it is Thing, Sue, Johnny, and Reed, and they are surrounded by Skrulls from all sides, with Morrat standing directly across from Johnny. A couple of shots later, from top going clockwise it is Johnny, Sue, Reed and Thing, and Morrat is now standing directly across from Sue. Additionally, the heroes are only now surrounded on their left and right, but not in front. (00:19:41)
