Trivia: After Sylvie activates the reset charges in the store, some of the places that show up on the TVA's monitors are planets visited throughout various MCU films, including Sakaar, Niflheim, Hala, Xandar, Vormir, Titan and Ego.
Revealing mistake: When Zaladane is helping Sauron escape, she uses her staff to reveal a hidden stairway in the floor. As Sauron descends the steps, the opening fades back into resembling the floor to suggest it is being hidden again, but Sauron fades away as well. It should be that Sauron walks out of view, and then the opening fades back into the floor.(00:02:56)
Revealing mistake: When Lilandra is saying to Xavier "I have seen your face a thousand times in my mind," the edge of an animation cel is visible around the parietal area of Xavier's head.(00:20:24)
Trivia: SPOILER: Some fans of the show correctly theorized that Kang would be the man behind the TVA, as one of the Timekeepers in Miss Minutes' animated presentation in the first episode bears a strong resemblance to Kang actor Jonathan Majors, who was confirmed to be playing the character in the upcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania several months before Loki debuted on Disney+.
Trivia: Nick Fury, as played by Samuel L. Jackson, is modelled after the Ultimate version of Nick Fury in the comics, who in turn was modelled after Jackson, with his blessing. Though Jackson claims to have no recollection of giving Marvel his blessing to use his likeness.
Trivia: Frog Thor, aka Throg, has a brief appearance in this episode, trapped inside a jar and trying to retrieve Mjolnir. Director Kate Herron revealed that Chris Hemsworth actually provided the sound of Throg struggling to retrieve his hammer.
Continuity mistake: When Gladiator is telling D'Ken who Corsair's prisoner is, the section of the wall directly behind the tip of the throne is green. When the shot changes, it is now the same bluish-gray color as the rest.(00:15:43)
Continuity mistake: When Erik the Red is asking Lilandra why she won't answer him, there is a lamp in the background on the left. When the shot changes, a decorative stand has appeared next to the lamp.(00:12:00)
Factual error: At the end of the episode when Carol Danvers is shown comatose, there is an EEG machine next to her bed. This machine monitors brain activity and uses electrodes on the patient's head in doing so. She has no electrodes placed on her head, and the machine isn't detecting activity in her brain.(00:20:37)
Continuity mistake: When Xavier is looking at Moira and Banshee from his window, as the camera zooms in on the latter two, you can see they are facing each other, and Moira has her left arm on or near Banshee's hip. When the shot changes, they are standing side by side, with Moira's arms wrapped around Banshee's left arm.(00:17:41)
Trivia: In the years following its release, the skull logo used in this film had been co-opted by Blue Lives Matter advocates and American far-right conservatives, including some of the Capitol insurrectionists of January 6th. Punisher co-creator Gerry Conway and Jon Bernthal - who would later portray the Punisher in the Netflix series - have criticized these groups for misunderstanding and appropriating the character. Punisher #13, which was released in July 2019, even had a scene that depicted the Punisher beating up and admonishing cops who idolized him.
Other mistake: When Xavier is telling Moira about how he and Lilandra were attacked, Moira dismisses his claim, reasoning that he came to her for help because he could no longer trust his own mind, and that no-one else had been in his room. She witnessed him flying out of a window, and he's a paraplegic. Unless she thinks he somehow catapulted himself out the window, she shouldn't have been so dismissive of his claim. Not to mention the damage to the room, including the bed being thrown against the TV.(00:05:21)
Continuity mistake: When Lilandra first appears in Xavier's room, she appears to be around 7 feet tall. She is nowhere near that tall in subsequent shots.(00:18:29)
Trivia: When Loki, Sylvie, Mobius, Classic Loki, and Kid Loki are standing atop the hill looking at Alioth in the distance, visible in the background on the left side of the screen is the Dark Aster, the ship of Ronan the Accuser.(00:34:40)
Trivia: When all the Lokis are running towards the hatch to Kid Loki's lair, the Thanos-Copter, Thanos' personal helicopter from the comics, is visible in the background.(00:08:46)
Trivia: Although she was an original creation for the show, Sylvie is partly based on the second version of Enchantress from the comics, whose real name is Sylvie Lushton, and, as her name suggests, has the power to enchant people.
