Behold, a Distant Star - S2-E10
Stupidity: When Johnny finds out his father is alive and wanted for murder, he is livid with his sister for telling him neither fact. When Sue decides to tell him the whole story, she asks Reed to pull a photo album from the drawer next to him, which contains a newspaper clipping detailing that their father was wanted for murder. If Sue didn't want Johnny to know about that, she shouldn't have placed the clipping in a photo album, and then kept the photo album in a communal area where Johnny could have easily discovered it at any time. Continuity mistake: When War Machine and Titanium Man are shooting their blasters at Dark Aegis' force field, War Machine is behind and to the left of Titanium Man. A couple of shots later, War Machine is suddenly in front of and above Titanium Man. (00:17:31)

Continuity mistake: When Dark Aegis is trying to talk Iron Man into joining him, he holds out his Oracle weapon for Iron Man to take. When the shot changes, the weapon is instantly mounted to his arm, and he is pointing it at Iron Man. (00:15:48)

Factual error: When War Machine is about to collide with the star, he ends up mere inches away from its surface before being rescued by Iron Man. Yellow-white stars have a surface temperature of about 10,000° F, and the metal with the highest melting point is tungsten, which is 6,192° F. Iron Man specifically says he switching his armor to "inferno mode" in order to safely catch Rhodey, but Rhodey does no such switching for himself, nor is it even revealed if his armor has that capability, so he should have been incinerated. Continuity mistake: When Iron Man catches War Machine just before he falls into the star, the devices on either side of War Machine's helmet are colored red, when they should be blue. (00:10:16)

Factual error: When War Machine is drifting towards the star, just before Iron Man rescues him, he rotates his body to bring himself to a dead stop. Since he's in the vacuum of space, rotating his body would not have stopped him. He would have instead continued drifting, but with his body now drifting into the star feet first. (00:09:56)

Continuity mistake: When Titanium Man is using his eye lasers to cut a hole in the ship, the circle becomes drastically smaller just before he hits Iron Man. (00:09:25)

Other mistake: This series is in the same continuity as the other Marvel animated series that aired around the same time - X-Men, Spider-Man, Iron Man, and The Incredible Hulk - by virtue of each aforementioned show crossing over with at least one of the others. However, early in this episode, the Fantastic Four receive help from the Avengers, and two of their members are Iron Man and She-Hulk. Iron Man is not a member of the Avengers in this universe, he is a member of Force Works. She-Hulk is not a member of the Avengers either. She is an attorney and is also frequently off doing missions with Bruce Banner/Hulk. (00:01:52)

Continuity mistake: When Rhodey is watching Iron Man try to slow down the space ship, Iron Man is surrounded by partly cloudy blue sky. When the action switches to Iron Man's point of view, he is in outer space. (00:01:37)

Factual error: The opening shot of the episode with the Sphinx and the Pyramids is filled with numerous errors. Firstly, the Sphinx is missing its feet. Secondly, there is a stream in front of the Sphinx. There are no bodies of water in front of the Sphinx. There are temples there. Lastly, as the camera pans to the right, the Pyramids come into view, suggesting they are northeast of the Sphinx. One of the Pyramids is northwest of the Sphinx, and the other one is directly behind it. (00:00:01)

Continuity mistake: When Dr. Doom captures Bruce Banner/Hulk, they are wearing blue pyjama bottoms. When Hulk busts out of Doom's Latverian embassy, his pants are incorrectly colored reddish brown. (00:12:09)

Iron Man, on the Inside - S2-E6
Other mistake: When Iron Man has successfully shrunken down, Julia confirms that he has been reduced to the size of a molecule. However, the line separating the slabs on the floor of the platform he was standing on, as well as the edge of the platform behind him are also still visible. If he was the size of a molecule, the floor around him would also account for a very small surface area, not even large enough to be the size of a drop of water. (00:08:36)

Trivia: When Reed is exploring Frankie's memories of when she snuck into her stepfather's lab as a child, he discovers that her stepfather was working on an android Human Torch for the military. This is a reference to the original Human Torch from the comics, who alongside Namor and Captain America, was one of Marvel's very first characters. (00:04:20)
