Stupidity: When Cyclops is arguing with Warren Worthington (Mystique in disguise), Worthington says to Cyclops "Look me in the eye and tell me that," to which Cyclops responds "It'll be my pleasure" and gets ready to shoot Worthington in the face until Professor X orders him to stand down. Cyclops is supposed to be the calm and collected field leader of the X-Men. It's pretty out of character for him to try and murder somebody, or even strike a blow, over a philosophical disagreement. Trivia: Despite the character's current massive popularity, Deadpool only made three unofficial cameos on this show, as the character was not nearly as popular in the early 90s. Once as a mental projection during a psychic session between Professor X and Sabretooth in the season 1 episode "Deadly Reunions"; as an illusion created by the dark side of Professor X's consciousness in the season 3 episode "The Phoenix Saga Part 2: The Dark Shroud"; and as form that Morph took during a confrontation with Wolverine in the season 2 episode "Whatever It Takes." Deadpool was set to make his first official appearance in a television series in the second season of "Wolverine and the X-Men", but that show was canceled before this ever came to fruition.

Beetlejuice (1988)
Question: When Adam first steps out of the house and ends up on Saturn, he's only there for a few seconds in real time, but Barbara tells him he was gone for two hours. Yet towards the end of the movie when Beetlejuice banishes Barbara to Saturn, she's there for a considerably longer time (at least long enough to wrangle a sandworm and co-opt it) but ends up only being gone for a few minutes and manages to return to the house in time to stop Beetlejuice from marrying. Why is this? Since she was on Saturn longer than Adam's first time there, shouldn't she have been gone for longer than two Earth hours?
Chosen answer: Time flows differently on Saturn and in the afterlife than it does in the house. Not faster or slower, just differently. Ten minutes on Saturn could be hours, or months, or just seconds in the house. There is no connection or relationship between the passage of time in one place and the passage of time in another.

Question: How is Blade able to catch his glaive (his bladed throwing-weapon, not his sword) without slicing his own hand and/or fingers in the process? As in this film and its sequels, the blades are still spinning rapidly just before he catches it.
Chosen answer: While all of the nocturnal vampires in the movies are far stronger and have incredible reflexes compared to humans, Blade is supposed to be an even stronger and faster vampire with special powers (he can travel in daylight, and his reflexes are super-fast even compared to other vampires). In short, Blade is so fast that he can safely snatch a whirling glaive out of the air as easily as catching a slow-pitch softball.

Continuity mistake: Several episodes in season 4 have scenes that take place immediately after the events of the final episode of season 3. However, the 7 years that passed in real life between seasons 3 and 4 are made apparent by the appearance of some characters. Notably Michael Cera and Alia Shawkat who had visibly matured out of their teenage years, and Portia de Rossi, who had plastic surgery on her face.

Deliberate mistake: Conjoined twins Bette and Dot have freckles and moles on their faces and necks in the exact same places.
Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.
Suggested correction: Not technically a mistake; unlike regular twins, conjoined twins are always identical in appearance, contrary to what movies/TV suggest. This could easily include mole patterns.
I looked up "conjoined twins" on Google images, and there are numerous photos of conjoined twins having freckles and moles in different spots. Notably on the Hensel twins, Brittany has a mole on her chin, but Abby does not. This disproves your suggestion that conjoined twins are always identical in appearance and could have identical mole patterns.

Trivia: This film spent several years in development hell largely because Fox wasn't sure that the film could be profitable, based in part on the character's negative reception in "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" and desire by the filmmakers for it to be rated R. It wasn't until computer animated test footage was leaked online to universal praise that the film was finally given the green light. Despite the hurdles the film had to overcome to get made, it ironically became not only the highest grossing film in the X-Men franchise (both domestically and worldwide), but the highest grossing R-rated film of all time worldwide.

Stupidity: It's stated that Imhotep will fear cats until he has fully regenerated and two different scenes show him fleeing in terror at the sight of a cat. Despite this, none of the characters that Imhotep is trying to kill that are fully aware of his weakness even think to have a cat with them at all times.

Trivia: The rock band Filter contributed music to this show, including their hit single "Hey Man Nice Shot" being used in the season 3 episode "D.P.O." as well as appearing on a couple X-Files soundtracks. Filter's lead singer Richard Patrick is the younger brother of Robert Patrick, who would later be cast in this show as Agent John Doggett.
