Trivia: War Machine (the supporting character from Iron Man) makes two brief cameo appearances in this episode. The first is in Cable's future after Cable tells his team that they aren't retreating. Whether or not the person inside the armor is James Rhodes or why he is a servant of Apocalypse is not explained. The second is when he is watching the Senate committee on TV along with G.W. Continuity mistake: When Morph parks the police car outside the gates of the X-Mansion, the front half of the car is in the immediate pathway of the gate. A couple of shots later, the entire car is parked along the curb. (00:02:50)

Continuity mistake: In the first shot of Rogue, Storm, Wolverine and Gambit watching Professor X's holographic message, Gambit's trenchcoat is colored yellow and his hair is colored black. Continuity mistake: Beast disarms a member of the Friends of Humanity whilst perched on a street lamp. When the angle changes to a wide shot, Beast is much higher on the lamp post and would have been too far out of reach to disarm the man in the first place. (00:11:45)

When the shot changes to a first person view through Cyclops' visor, the background is merely moving up and down. If he was running as the previous shot had shown, the objects in the background from his point of view would become larger as he got closer to them. (00:16:50)
