Continuity mistake: When Bishop is telling Wolverine that Sentinels only want to kill rebellious mutants, his neck alternates between being the same color as his skin and the same light blue color as his uniform.(00:04:51)
Continuity mistake: When Wolverine is asking Bishop if he knows him from somewhere, his pupils have been drawn as small black circles inside a blue circle that are the same color as his eyes. Within the same shot, his small pupils suddenly become larger by filling in the rest of the blue circle, and then just as quickly go back to being small.(00:04:27)
Deliberate mistake: When Tim Taylor is telling Mike about his show "Tool Time," he mentions that it lasted for 8 years. Later in the episode when Mike is asking Tim why he stopped doing the show, Tim says it's because he found it challenging to keep the show great and not run out of ideas. Firstly, while Home Improvement ran for 8 years, the show within the show of "Tool Time" was already a couple years old when Home Improvement started, as evidenced by the fact that its season 3 episode "Fifth Anniversary" was about "Tool Time" celebrating its 5th anniversary, as the title suggests. Additionally, Tim didn't quit "Tool Time" for the reasons he stated here. He spontaneously quit over creative differences with Binford's new president, who was turning the show into a sensationalist Jerry Springer type of format, and because his wife Jill had just been given a job in Indiana, and he decided the family would move there to support her.
Audio problem: When Cyclops shoots an optic blast at War's feet during the battle at Stone Henge, the groan that War lets out is the same sound used whenever Wolverine's groans.(00:18:24)
Continuity mistake: When Rogue positions the platform that Mystique is shackled to upright, Mystique's feet are close to touching the floor. A couple of shots later, her feet are suddenly several inches higher.(00:14:08)
Continuity mistake: When Rogue is interrogating Mystique, she is standing in various places next to the platform depending on the shot.(00:13:45 - 00:14:08)
Continuity mistake: When Rogue is shackling Dr. Adler to the platform, she only applies the restraints to his arms and left foot, leaving the right foot unshackled. Moments after Adler reveals himself to Rogue to being Mystique, the right foot is now shackled as well.(00:13:31 - 00:14:08)
Continuity mistake: When Rogue is flying toward Adler's lab, you can see the building is several stories off the ground. When she flies in through the hole in the roof, the interior of the lab is on the top-level, whereas the previous episode showed that the lab was on the ground level.(00:12:55)
Continuity mistake: When the cameraman drops his camera, it lands on the ground and rests on a rock so that the lens is at a slanted angle. When the shot changes to the camera's point of view, it shows Apocalypse right side up, when he should be slanted to correspond with the camera.(00:10:14)
Continuity mistake: When Xavier, Jubilee, and Rogue are walking towards the end of the Blackbird's runway, their shadows on the wall show Rogue in front of Jubilee, but Jubilee is actually in front of Rogue.(00:10:51)
Continuity mistake: When Storm turns on the TV, the news reporter's microphone has a yellow 7 on a black circle. A couple of shots later, the black circle is now also yellow.(00:07:49)
Continuity mistake: When Xavier is briefing the X-Men about Apocalypse, Storm is on Xavier's left, and as the camera pans up and to the left, you can see no-one is around her. When the shot changes, Cyclops and Rogue are suddenly next to Storm.(00:10:21)
Continuity mistake: When Storm turns on the TV, much of the Eiffel Tower is in the background. A couple of shots later, the reporter is standing in front of a building that would obscure much of the Eiffel Tower, and is also suddenly standing next to a news van.(00:07:47)
Continuity mistake: When Nick Fury is overseeing the cleanup of Iron Man's attack on Firepower, the patch on his right shoulder is purple. When he is admonishing the soldier for playing around with Iron Man's helmet, the patch is now brown. A couple of shots later, the patch is now blue.(00:10:37)
Plot hole: When Mandarin is using his power rings to see the different kinds of suits that Iron Man has built, all the footage is clips of Iron Man using different suits in previous episodes. Assuming the rings had the power to do that, then they should also be able to show Mandarin that Iron Man is Tony Stark, because if they have the power to show Iron Man using different armors down to the most minute detail, then they should also be able to show him removing his armor to reveal Tony Stark underneath. Not to mention that H.O.M.E.R. frequently refers to Iron Man as "Mr. Stark" when communicating with him.
Continuity mistake: When the Mandarin is in the jewelry store at the end, he is shown as having only retrieved six of his ten power rings, with the ring in the jewelry store to be his seventh. In addition to previous episodes showing him to having already retrieved all ten rings, when he walks out of the jewelry store and places the ring he just stole on his left hand middle finger, you can see that he now has nine rings, with the thumb of his right hand being the only digit not adorned with a ring.(00:20:59)
Continuity mistake: When Mystique, disguised as Warren Worthington, first walks into the bar, the walls are purple. When she is saying "You don't have to be mutants," the walls are now red. When the shot changes, they are back to being purple, and a framed picture has appeared over her left shoulder.(00:04:18)
Continuity mistake: When Iron Man hits MODOK with a repulsor blast, MODOK goes somersaulting backwards. When the shot changes, MODOK is still somersaulting, but his body has flipped 180°.(00:17:56)
