Question: When Troy and Abed are showing the yam to a lady she tells them that their yam was about to bloom, and that it was stepped on. I don't understand how she couldn't tell that it had been boiled? If she can tell that it was about to bloom, it doesn't make sense that she couldn't see that it had been in hot water. Of course, she wouldn't be at Greendale (I assume she is at Greendale but I could be wrong) if she was that good at something.

Question: Do they ever say why the cheerleading coach hates the Glee club?
Question: During the scene when Frank and Jane are making a clay pot, what caused the potter's wheel to go berserk and splatter them with clay? (00:50:18)
Answer: The foot pedal controls the speed of the wheel. Frank puts his foot on top of Jane's foot and pushes the pedal down all the way. The rapid acceleration and the fact they took their hands off the clay caused it to go everywhere.
Wouldn't that hurt Jane as Frank's foot is applying pressure to hers while pressing down on the pedal?
Not really, you can see his foot gently presses on top of hers, and both their feet cause the pedal to slope towards the floor, which would decrease the amount of pressure Frank's foot applies to Jane's. On top of that, different people have different pain thresholds.
This is not exactly related to the question asked, but part of the scene that I could never really figure out. It showed that Jane made something in the shape of a square out of a piece of clay. What did she make and how could she have made it in only seconds with her eyes closed? I also don't quite understand how the clay could've possibly gotten to where she obtained it to begin with (asking in a way of abiding by the guidelines).
The scene cuts to them shaping clay without showing any of the set up. So we don't see how it got to that point, so she didn't do it in a second with her eyes closed. It's just a parody of the scene from "Ghost." In real life, using a clay wheel makes shaping clay faster, although it takes practice. If you put your hand, or a tool, on top and press down, you create a hole (which we aren't shown). It looks like Jane is just making a vase.
I really apologize, but I was referring to after the vase was inadvertently destroyed. It was after Frank apparently had a bodybuilder's physique (which was an obvious body double joke). Then it showed Jane making something out of clay in such a short time with her eyes closed. So sorry about that. Thank you for the reply.
The fact she made it so quickly was a gag, but she makes an ashtray. I would say the joke about that is people will often smoke after sex (or there's a perceived joke they do). It seems the clay comes off Frank's body, like it was there when the clay went everywhere.

Question: What happened to Luke's hand after Vader cut it off?
Answer: It fell into the reactor shaft alongside his lightsaber, unrecoverable. It probably fell outside like Luke did and dropped into the clouds of the gas giant Bespin.
Well, what about the thing that fell after Luke landed on the satellite dish outside? Was that Luke's hand?
No, nothing as macabre as that. Probably a piece of cloth or something that fell out of his pocket. Or, possibly, his lightsaber. But I doubt they would have him watch his own hand fall.
I always assumed that was his blaster, falling out of the holster.
In the Legends continuity someone found Luke's severed hand and used it to create Luke's evil clone, known as Luuke.
Answer: In the books before Disney, the hand was recovered by an Ugnaught (the pig-like people in Cloud City) and was taken with his lightsaber to the Emperor's secret storehouse on the planet Wayland. It was later used (in the Thrawn trilogy) to create a clone of Luke.
Question: Why did John Travolta have his gun drawn while talking to the guy in the car who he accidentally shoots?
Answer: He is careless with it, and doesn't think about if it might accidentally fire. There are safety protocols when dealing with guns for a reason. Gangsters just chose to ignore them.

Answer: The address to where Tig was going to be at. Tig thought he was waiting for the Prospect, but Jax set him up to take care of the "other problem." You see Marks crumple the paper after Tig says "oh s***."

Question: Neck Bone and Sweet Pea are referred to by Florida as their real names, Tyrone and Sylvester. Do we know which name goes to which guy? (I've always wondered this).
Answer: Neck Bone is Sylvester and Sweet Pea is Tyrone.
For some reason, I always thought it was the other way around but really no way of knowing. I'm assuming your answer is based on how Florida looks their directions near the end of the episode while saying their names.
They are listed as such on IMDb.com. So it is possible to check. Doug Grant played Sweet Pea and Michael D. Roberts played Neck Bone.
Question: When Becker is reading the list of indictments to Lutze, what were indictments four and five? Lutze was screaming so loudly I couldn't hear them.
Answer: #4: That he did personally murder at least 14 (Jews). The last word I couldn't quite hear because of the screams, but I hear an "-oz" sound at the end, so it's an educated guess. #5: That he did sign and put into effect specific orders calling for the gassing and cremating of one million human beings.
Question: When the soldiers were taking the mutants to the containment center by the train, Kurt shouts towards the soldiers "Your kid was right about us. We could help you." What does he mean "your kid"? (01:26:45)
Chosen answer: Four minutes earlier, one of the MCU soldiers walks past Kurt and says to him "My kid used to be a fan" (of the X-Men). So later on, Kurt yells to the same soldier "Your kid was right about us. We could help you!", meaning that he and the other mutants can be trusted to help them fight the D'Bari attackers.
Question: Multi part question:1. Does this one ignore Seed Of Chucky? 2. Why did Tiffany change her appearance from Seed Of Chucky once human? 3. Why not have Brad Dourif's voice come out of the Nica character's mouth?
Answer: Well in Bride Of Chucky, unless that was a dye job, she had black hair. Here she's blonde.
She simply decided to dye her hair back to blonde. Human Tiffany was originally blonde in "Bride of Chucky," and she also dyed her doll-hair blonde when she turned into a doll. The only time she has dark hair is at the end of "Seed of Chucky" when she possesses Jennifer Tilly. But like I said... she simply decided to dye her hair blonde again in the meantime. She was also blonde in "Curse of Chucky." There's no real significance to it... she probably just wanted to have hair like she used to have.

Answer: 1) No, this film does not ignore "Seed of Chucky." While references to it are minimal, it is still considered official canon with the series. 2) I don't really understand how she changed her appearance. She still looks like Jennifer Tilly. You may need to elaborate on that. 3) In the context of the film, it's because he's taken over her Nica's body and is currently using her vocal cords to speak.
Question: Why was it important for Vito to get the food stamps to gas stations before midnight?
Answer: In the game, Vito steals gas stamps (not food stamps). However, after the robbery, Henry sees that the gas stamps expire at midnight, so they would have no value the next day. (Gas stamps were used to ration how much gas someone could buy, without a stamp, you couldn't get gas, even if you had money).
Question: Kaffee is explaining the plea deal where they would only spend six months in prison. Dawson explains that they won't accept the deal because that would mean they would be pleading guilty and would likely be dishonorably discharged. Even if the "conduct unbecoming" charge were dropped, as per the deal, wouldn't the judge likely order a DD anyway because their actions resulted in the death of a Marine? And wouldn't a smart lawyer, like Kaffee, know this and explain it to them?
Answer: As part of the deal offered by Ross, the "conduct unbecoming" isn't being dropped...it's the ONLY charge the government will pursue, which, if they were found guilty, would carry a two year sentence (which Kaffee estimates will translate to six months). This is why Dawson wants to go to court, to prove their innocence and avoid a DD...during the trial, of course, they are found guilty of conduct unbecoming anyway. If all the charges were dropped, or if they were found innocent of all the charges, there would be no reason for them to be dishonorably discharged, as they would not be guilty of any crime.

Question: When the Braddocks are interviewed by reporters prior to Jim's biggest fight, one reporter asks Mae how she feels that he will be facing a boxer who has killed two people in the ring. Why do you think the reporter asks her that question rather than Jim Braddock.
Answer: It's typical for reporters to ask someone who is married to a notable person how they feel about their spouse. It gives a different slant and perspective to their story. Other reporters have probably asked Jim for his reaction, or he had publicly made statements to that affect, so asking again provides nothing new.
Question: At the end we learned that Laurel murdered her husband but how did she not remember that if she was the killer all along?
Question: Did they know that they were living in the modern world? I was so confused when I first saw this movie and watching it again now I still don't get it.
Answer: The elders always knew about the modern world because they once lived in it. Years before, they created the village to shut themselves off from modern-day violence. They had met at a grief support group after each suffered a tragic loss. Edward Walker, who was wealthy, owned the land and funded the entire operation, including the security around the fake "nature preserve." Everyone born after the elders knew nothing about the modern world and were raised and educated as if it was the 19th century. The elders lied to their children and invented the monster story to frighten them from straying beyond the village. It was claimed the monsters would not attack and kill anyone if the inhabitants stayed within the village perimeter. Edward Walker did tell his daughter, Ivy, that the monsters were fake so he could send her to retrieve the medicine to save Lucius Hunt. Because she was blind, she never saw the outside world.
Question: When Gary Seven received the three ID cards from the computer, one ID is for the police homicide department. However, this ID card is not used. What was the reason for issuing it?
Answer: It's not explained. However, Gary Seven was originally supposed to be a character in a separate TV show. A pilot was filmed, but the show never materialized. Footage from the pilot was later incorporated into the Star Trek episode, "Assignment Earth." Presumably, some of the footage that was used didn't fully relate to or explain the revised plot, creating inconsistencies. Also, at the end, Spock tells Seven that he and his new team have, "many interesting experiences ahead of them." That could indicate the unused I.D. was intended for a future purpose.
Question: How didn't Syndrome already know that Bob or Mr. incredible married Elastigirl? There is a computer with all the information about superheroes, so he would surely know this. I know that her location was unknown, but they were married before supers were made illegal and Incrediboy (his alias 15 years prior) was his biggest fan.
Answer: They got married as their secret identities, only their fellow superheroes knew it was Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl that got married, no fans. Syndrome also already wasn't a fan of him anymore and stopped following him.
What about the message that Mirage sent to Bob Parr? In it, she calls him Mr. Incredible and then says that his secret is safe. Since Mirage knows that Bob is Mr. Incredible and works for Syndrome, wouldn't that mean he knows Bob and Mr. Incredible are the same guy too?
Sure, Mirage personally recognized Mr. Incredible in the car with Frozone, who they were tracking. But they didn't make the connection yet that his wife is a super as well. In time they might have, but the focus was on Mr. Incredible right away, since that was Syndrome's number 1 super to find and test the robot on.
Question: Sean claims that "the state paid for" Angela's gender reassignment surgery, during her treatment. Considering that Peter was forced, by his aunt, to live as a female, why would an institution do this? Seeing how Peter did not make his own decision to become Angela.
Answer: Maybe he'd grown used to it.The way some places are, they may have done this in hopes of curing him.
Question: I read that there was supposedly a deleted scene which happens during or after Daniel's fight against Dutch. Namely, after Daniel scores a point, Dutch gets so angry that he tackles him, causing him to get disqualified in the process. Is this true that this scene existed?
Answer: Yes.
And why was this scene deleted? It would explain how Daniel was able to defeat Dutch by scoring only one point.
Question: Why does Brenda bother with all the other characters? They had nothing to do with David's death, only Natalie and Michelle did.
Answer: Simply killing Natalie did not satisfy her quest for revenge. She also wanted to torment her by killing all of her friends before finally going for Natalie. Also, Brenda was unhinged/insane and like many other serial killers, got a thrill out of killing.

Answer: It was part of the plot that when the boiled yam was dropped it looked like it was stepped on (which it never was). So there was no way to tell the difference between the flesh being soft because it was boiled or because it was stepped on (in the show that is, I don't know if one could tell the difference in real life). Plus, the rest of the yam wasn't boiled, so there was no evidence the yam was sitting in boiling water.
