When the two police investigators are killed and the narrator says that the case is still open why didn't the authorities (police, FBI and so on), descend on that area and try to catch Leatherface? Tobin OReilly

Question: If Rachel is already safe because she copied the tape, why does she still get all the symptoms that the other doomed victims do?

Answer: The main point to remember is, Samara wants to tell her story. Yes, by copying the tape, Rachel's s letting other people know of Samara's story, but the symptoms are probably still there as an extra mean for Samara to show her what she went through. I think this shows that the curse is in full effect for the whole time, and that the copying only prevents the final outcome.

Question: What does the appearance of the dove during the Pilate scene mean? Only Jesus saw the dove, does that mean "hope" is coming to him? Is it in the Bible?

Answer: The dove is a symbolic representation of the Holy Spirit. It was God reminding Jesus of His presence through the ordeal. The incident is not in the Bible, but the Bible does say that the Holy Spirit appeared as a dove when Jesus was baptized.

K.C. Sierra

Jack's Revenge

Question: I am confused as to the time difference between X-Men and X2. I heard it is 3 weeks and it was 3 years. Some say its 3 years because of Cyclops' new car, but then I realize that it doesn't take Logan 3 years to reach Alkali Lake. So, what is the time difference?

Answer: 3 weeks would be more than enough time to get to Canada and back. Further, we never know for sure if Cyclops had 2 or more cars to start with. Also, as Rogue is only 17-18, she would have changed dramatically in 3 years. 3 weeks, or a similar relatively short period of time, is far more likely.

Grumpy Scot

Answer: I've been wondering that too. 3 weeks definitely makes more sense to me, but that actually made me think of another question. Since the first movie came out in 2000 and the second in 2003, it made me wonder what year it is. I suppose either are possible.

Question: When Mort shows Ken his bruises, does Ken see them? Later in the movie when Mort is obviously crazy, he can't see his bruises. So, were the bruises his imagination or were the bruises being gone his imagination?

Answer: Mort never shows the bruises to Ken. He plans to when they meet Tom in the morning, but we never see him actually do it. It doesn't matter whether they were there or not (either they were self-inflicted or imaginary), the fact that they appear and disappear shows his altered perception.

Phoenix

Question: Why do Starsky and Hutch come back in the car after visiting Big Earl in the prison when they went to see him at the bar on motorcycles?

Answer: It's entirely possible, since they were not wearing their disguises at the prison, that they had already changed clothes, and therefore, could change vehicles.

Phoenix

Answer: They wore disguises to blend in the biker bar and talk up Big Earl as plausible drug dealers, but when they discovered he was in prison, they figured going in as cops would intimidate him and could offer him a deal. When they said they would get him a radio.

Kill the Alligator and Run - S11-E19

Question: During the Spring Break vacation in 'Kill the Alligator and Run' episode, I don't understand a lot of the Kid Rock section. Who is Kid Rock and Joe C? And what is going on with the presenter with the diamond in her hand who gets dragged off by security when she says it's her birthday?

Answer: Kid Rock is a rock star, and Joe C was his sidekick (he died in 2000). The jewel in the hand was a reference to the movie Logan's Run, where the changing color of the jewel indicated that a person had reached the end of their alloted lifespan of 30 years.

Question: Did anyone see the snot slowly comes out of Satan's nostrils then slowly goes back up? It is in the opening scene in the garden with Jesus where they have a close-up shot of Satan. What's up with that?

Answer: That was not snot comming out of satan's nose, that was a maggot. It was to show that this person was in fact the devil, or at least a very nasty person.

aip72

Answer: It wasn't a snot, but looked like the tail of a serpent wiggling out of the nostril and coming out of Satan's robe.
