Question: When was the Wilhelm scream in this movie?
Answer: The Wilhelm scream is used for slug.
Question: The song they play in this episode's end credits - can anybody tell me what it's called?
Answer: It's a made up song for the show. It's a synth version of what the kids sang in Mr. Frond's video at the beginning of the episode. "Let's Swap Eyes."
Question: What makes Ethan really trust Luther to hold on to the NOC list? I mean he's a disavowed agent, right?
Answer: When Ethan was at Langley making a copy of the NOC list. Listen carefully and you'll hear Luther say "Holy mother of God. The NOC List." He had no idea that's what they were there to get. He knew how sacred that was. Job had made a deal to get the list and sell it. If Luther was in on it, he would not have been so shocked by it. Later, Ethan says if Luther knew what they were going to do, he never would have agreed to be a part of it. Probably because if they got caught the punishment would be severe and Luther was not a bad person. He would not willingly risk lives just for a few dollars.
Question: In the ballroom scene a haunting waltz is being played. What's the music?
Answer: Beautiful Love by Victor Young.
Question: Did Leah sleep with her boss?
Answer: No.
Question: Twice in this episode, a joke is made about Tori Spelling. When asked why they diss on Tori, the response is, "She knows what she did." What exactly is the joke referring to?
Answer: She was in the show 90210, so I'm guessing it's a reference to something she did in the show?
Question: In Kobra Kai, Silver tells Chozen he never had children. Then why are people saying Snake was Silver's son especially since it was never established in the movie that he was?
Answer: When the movie came out in '89, it was revealed by the director John Avildsen that he had cast his real life son Jonathon as Terry Silvers son Snake. Although that connection is not mentioned in the movie, it did help explain why a grown man had a teenage boy living in his house.
Question: What happened to Susanna's dog Fin she first arrived off the train with? (00:09:22)
Answer: It isn't uncommon in movie and TV series/shows for pets to be introduced then quietly or gradually phased out with no mention of what happened to them. This seems to be the case with Finn. After Susannah and Finn first appeared, Finn was shown four times (first when he went onto "Mother's room" and fourth/last lying near the tennis court net @ 00:19:08). "Many, many" years passed until Tristan returned home, so it can be assumed that Finn was no longer alive. Perhaps something tragic happened to Finn, but it might be best to assume Finn lived a long happy life and died of old age.
Question: We all know Brandon Lee was shot and ultimately died of his injuries. The death was recorded and has ultimately been destroyed. But does anyone know what scene it is where the accident happened? I've read that it was the scene where he jumps on the table and is shot off before popping up, and I've read that it was a scene with just Funboy shooting him with a revolver. There have also been articles where it's described as an "unknown scene"
Answer: To add, there are other websites besides Wikipedia, that also confirm that Brandon's death occurred while filming the scene of Shelly's rape.
Answer: This is from Wikipedia: On March 31, 1993, at EUE Screen Gems Studios in Wilmington, North Carolina, Lee was filming a scene where his character, Eric, is shot after witnessing the beating and rape of his fiancée. Actor Michael Massee Funboy fires a .44 Magnum Smith and Wesson Model 629 revolver at Lee as he walks into the room.
As we are all aware, Wikipedia isn't the best for credibility. Is there any other source for this information? As like I said originally, I've read articles where it's the scene where he falls off the table, and others where it's just "an unknown scene".
That Wikipedia entry is cited with a source to an official news article, so it's totally legit. I've never seen an article where it says it was the scene where he fell off a table. I've only ever heard it mentioned as the scene where he finds Shelly being beaten and raped. Question: What were David and his friends doing with the dogs? What was their crime?
Answer: Not enough information was revealed in the short scene to make any conclusions and there was no concrete evidence that a (dog-related) crime was being committed. There was not even any indication that a dog was present. One might GUESS that David and his friends prepared dogs for illegal dog-fighting or trained dogs to be dangerous, aggressive watch (or "attack") dogs, but there is no proof. "We're here to see a man about a dog" may sound suspicious or shady, but could mean something as innocent as looking for a lost pet. [00:38:36]. There is a second "clue" much later in the movie when Mr. Walker is talking on the phone: "They're running their own cartel and you can't do a goddamn thing about it"? Mr. Walker probably saw some evidence when he broke into their house. While it might be assumed he means a drug cartel, not all cartels are drug-related. But, relating this scene to the earlier one, it appears "We're here to see a man about a dog" is the code for wanting to buy drugs. (The man who answered the door replied, "Does this look like a kennel?") David and his friends/gang appear to have been selling drugs out of their home. [01:15:55].
Question: Why was Brent so certain that there wasn't anything in the mist? Dan ran into the store and said there were things in the mist. When David, Ollie etc came back from the loading bay, they told everyone about the tentacle. Brent, Bud and the biker guy started laughing about it believing they were making it up. Bud and the biker see the tentacle then change their tone. Why would Brent still think David was making it up, especially since Bud and the biker were originally in agreement with him?
Answer: Short answer, monster movies tend to have that one skeptical character, to provide human conflict. Long answer...would you believe that there were eldritch monsters lurking in fog, if you hadn't seen it with your own eyes? Most likely not; you'd chalk it up to hallucinations, mass hysteria, mental illness, or any number of "logical" explanations. 999,999 times out of 1,000,000, you'd be correct, but in that one-in-a-million scenario where you're actually in a horror movie, you die.
Question: Who was Fletcher's dad in the movie? It intrigues me that it wasn't mentioned that Rachel had an ex-boyfriend or ex-husband cause it's normal protocol to suspect a former partner in case there's bad blood.
Answer: It's never stated. He could be dead, completely estranged, or have a rock solid alibi.
Question: How was Alonzo going to square a debt of $1M to the Russians when his cut of the take from Roger was $250,000?
Answer: From Wikipedia: His cut was one quarter of the $4 million that was seized from Roger's house. That would be $1 million.
They stole a total of $1M from Roger, the box held $4M. They kept $1M and the remaining $3M was evidence. The fruits of the bust. Alonzo handed Jake and Jeff each $250,000. Granted, Jake didn't accept his share but there were 3 other dirty cops and everyone except Jake took a cut. It doesn't add up.
Question: I tried to read up on what kind of accent Russell Crowe was doing, I assumed it was a Greek accent. But I don't know the accent well enough to know if it come across authentic or sounding like a stereotype. How realistic is his accent? Does it sound natural to someone who is Greek? At times, it sounded like someone does a bad Italian accent by pretending to be Mario.
Answer: I can't say how authentic Crowe's accent was, but to me it sounded like an Aussie Greek accent. There were some popular Greek comedy characters on Aussie TV in the 80s when Crowe started acting. Some were caricatures, and some exaggerating their own ethnic backgrounds, and they were generally good-natured portrayals. Crowe being a New Zealander who worked in Australia, may have been influenced by them.
Question: Do the Na'vi actually think Jake is one of them from a different "tribe" or do they know he's an Avatar? He shows up speaking English with human clothes, obviously not a native yet they allow him to stay (albeit after some resistance). Why is this?
Answer: Yes, they know he's a human, there were others before him. He said he was there to learn their ways and customs. They felt if he could become one of them, it comes to an understanding and stop the invading machinery. The Tom Cruise movie, "The Last Samurai," has the same plot.
Question: This movie seems to end on a cliffhanger. Are they making another movie or are they done?
Answer: At this point in time, there are no plans for a direct sequel to "The Last Knight." The movie "Bumblebee" was originally made to serve as a prequel/spin-off, but the studio subsequently decided to treat it as a sort-of "soft reboot." The next movie, "Transformers: Rise of the Beasts," will be a direct sequel to "Bumblebee" and will be set in the 1990's. And I believe at this point in time, the current plan is to continue the "Bumblebee" storyline instead of continuing the storyline of the original five films. It should also be noted that the original five movies got increasingly negative critical/fan reception with each film, and this film performed poorly at the box office... whereas "Bumblebee" got the best reviews of the series from both critics and fans, cost significantly less money, and turned a decent profit. It makes more sense businesswise to make a "Bumblebee" sequel than a "The Last Knight" sequel.
Answer: I think that they are done with this series. Especially considering the fact that The Last Knight was a complete failure.
Answer: As far as I know there is none, the last movie was not well-received by the critics and the audience.
Question: Am I the only one that has seen an alternate ending to Shane? I saw it once where he comes riding back from over the hill.
Answer: During the 1960's, there was a TV Series, "Shane," which ran for one season on ABC. The premise was Shane returned to the ranch to help the now widowed Starrett and her son.
Thanks for the reply, but my daughter already suggested that one. That definitely wasn't it though. I've never even seen that TV show. The one I saw first was Allan Ladd and no other. All the other actors the same as well. There is no other movie that I have ever thought this about.
Answer: As far as I know there is no alternate ending. I've watched it for over forty years.
Yeah, that's what everyone says. So far no-one has seen what I saw. My best guess is that I saw an alternate version of the movie that they accidentally released briefly to my local Dayton Ohio TV station in 1970. Then again maybe I was briefly transported to an alternate universe where that is their version? Just kidding... I think?
Mandela effect.
I saw Shane for the first time in 1970. I do remember it well. It was a slightly different version. I've seen it several times since and it is a different version. The first one I saw was like this... The father was not as good of a husband and father. Shane and the woman had a bit more than just an attraction. The farmer knocked Shane out and the farmer went to town and got himself killed. After leaving, Shane came back over the hill. The boy, with tears in his eyes, yelled "Shane you came back".
This is a perfect example of the Mandela Effect. No alternate version of the film exists where Shane comes back over the hill. There would be no reason for the studio to spend the money to script, shoot, edit, and distribute two versions of a film that vary so wildly. That there is no evidence of this alternate version other than "memories" should indicate that it doesn't actually exist. It is possible you are conflating elements of the film and the 1966 television series.
Question: How did Lone Starr learn to talk if the monks he was raised with took a vow of silence?
