Question: At a certain point there is a cut to a studio scene of a supposed current affairs programme called, (title super on screen), "PROBE AROUND" on crime. There is a stirring piece of classical music used as an intro to the supposed programme, what is it? I know it, but I simply cannot remember the composer or the work. Could you possibly tell me what it is?

Question: I have two questions. Firstly after beating up the guy in the hotel kitchen, Frank returns to the room and tells Delaney that he is quitting. Why was he so ticked off? And secondly, if Nicki was the one who hired Portman to kill Rachel, why did Portman kill Nicki and why did he try to molest Rachel in the bedroom?
Chosen answer: I think he was ticked off because he was being so personally affected by Rachel. He talks about being disciplined. He tries to keep emotions away from his job, but he liked Rachel. Also, Rachel at the time was angry with him, but also showed a lot of disregard for her own safety (as you remember, when he got back it was just after she and Tony went shopping without telling Frank). So yeah, I think it was frustration for the overall situation. To answer your second question, from the conversation with Frank at the lakeside house, Nikki had asked around at a club she went to, but she herself didn't hire Portman. Someone named Armando did the hiring.
Question: In the beginning when John and Charlie crack the safe and make away with the gold, there is a third diver present to get away with the gold. Who is the third person? Every other crew member was accounted for during the robbery.
Chosen answer: It was Left Ear.
Question: Why did Wilson drop some white bead things to the floor at Sara's wedding? In order to let Phillip slide on them? But Wilson knew Phillip wouldn't show up at the wedding.
Chosen answer: It was rice and he just simply dumped them on the floor because he knew he wouldn't be needing it after the wedding to throw at the bride and groom because the Professor didn't show up.
Question: Why does Mr. Big's daughter have whites in her eyes when everyone else in her species seems to have little beady black eyes?
Answer: It's just to show how different and special she is from all of the others.
Question: When The Queen sends a fake letter to Wendell's council, one person mentions Relish's challenge for Wendell to come and fight him. Why would Relish make this challenge if he knows that the Queen switched Wendell's body with her dog's?
Answer: He does this intentionally, he knows that Wendell will never rise to the occasion, due to his unfortunate circumstances.
Question: Dikembe Umbutu stated that his country had been fighting the aliens from the only City Destroyer that landed for nearly 10 years. However, it's stated later in the movie that the surviving aliens were in a catatonic state after the destruction of the mothership, and woke up when their queen arrived 20 years later. So were some aliens not psychically affected by the loss of the mothership's queen and continued a ground war?
Answer: General Adams was only referring to the aliens in the Area 51 prison as having been in a catatonic state for 20 years, not all of the aliens that survived after the mothership was destroyed. Presumably, the aliens in the prison came from the City Destroyer that crashed near Area 51, but the aliens Dikembe fought came from the landed Destroyer, and with their ship intact (and given the fact that it was trying to drill to the core) those aliens retained more of a will to fight.
I don't buy that. After man kind fought the aliens the fiercest war it had known, it let an alien unit go on fighting an African militia for 10 years without providing help? I would imagine if at the end of the war there were still aliens with fighting spirit, world armies would be all over them.
There is a novel authorized by the filmmakers called "Independence Day: Crucible" that takes place between both movies. It explains that Dikembe's father fought a ground war against the aliens from the landed destroyer, all the while stubbornly refusing help from the outside world.
Question: If the two waterspouts were swirling closely around the pickup truck, how come they weren't able to pick it up?
Chosen answer: A tornado would have to be at least an F3 to be able to pick up a truck. The waterspouts were very small.
The Fujita Scale is incorrectly portrayed as being used to describe the size of a tornado. It's actually used to describe the amount of a damage it has caused AFTER it has passed.
Question: Was there any specific reason that Dolarhyde chose his victims other than through home movies? Was there anything about the families that made him want to kill them?
Answer: His choices had to do with the layout of peoples' property. At his job, he studied customers' family video tapes that contained scenes of their homes and yards. He looked for seclusion around the properties, easy-access back entrances, whether there was a family dog that would bark, and so on.
But what was his reason for killing them? Was it because he saw a happy family and he was angry because he never had one or because he saw a life that he would never have?
He chose the houses that had big backyards. During the Edward Norton/Lecter interaction, Lector says something about how blood looks in the moonlight.
Answer: "Because it made him a god" as it was put early in the film.
Question: When it's discovered that Dolarhyde and Lecter have been secretly communicating with each other, a letter that was intercepted from Lecter was for Graham's house address. Since the FBI was able to retrieve the letter before it got to Dolarhyde, then how did he find out where Graham lived?
Answer: To answer the second part of your question. He found out how Graham lived by telephoning the fbi agency and reaching Crawford's assistant and pretending to be someone important who needed to send Graham something at his home address. (This is from the book).
Question: Why was Charles Xavier so against Erik Lehnsherr killing Sebastian Shaw?
Chosen answer: Charles wants Erik to use his powers for good, but if he kills Sebastian Shaw, this may lead him down a darker path (which ultimately ends up happening).
Question: Judging by Maximus' appearance and the fact "Tangled" is set in Germany, is Maximus a Hanoverian or a different German breed?
Chosen answer: His breed has never been confirmed, but he does have enough similarities to a Hanoverian that it's possible that's what he is.
Answer: The Hanoverian breed of horse was first bred at the State Stud at Celle in Lower Saxony. This was established in 1735 by George II, who was both the King Of Great Britain and the "Elector" (or ruler) of the state of Hanover. But, while Tangled is set in a land that might have some resemblance to pre-modern Germany, it also appears take place much earlier than 1735. Therefore Maximus cannot truly be a Hanoverian. However, staff at the Celle State Stud used native German horses when breeding the first Hanoverians, so there might be a distant "family resemblance" between Maximus and the Hanoverian breed. Most (but not all) Hanoverians are dark coloured. Another thread in an earlier question about Tangled says the artists originally coloured Maximus black. However, Tangled is a fantasy film. Maximus can communicate with people in a much more meaningful way than any Hanoverian (or any other breed of horse). So maybe Tangled should not be regarded as wholly accurate in equine matters.
Question: Charles Xavier knew about Erik Lehnsherr's past, but did he know about those three people he killed at the bar?
Chosen answer: Xavier can read minds, so it's assumed he knows about the murders.
Answer: He must have been in his teens at least, his portrait that he shreds was not of a 11 year old.
Answer: I think the prince was 11 when he was cursed.
Answer: He is 11. 21 by first love '10 years we've been rusting'. (Be Our Guest). So, he was 11 due to the flower above to lose all petals.
Question: The scene where they are watching a Washington Redskins game on TV, shows Doug Williams throwing a pass in slow motion and it looks like they are losing the game. In the timeline this game is played before October 18, 1988. The only game which he played in and lost that year was against the N.Y. Giants on Monday night to start the season so I could not place the date or opponent of the game that was airing in the scene. Who/when was it?
Answer: Several key factors in determining which game it was. The commentator said, in regards to the Redskins it's been a disappointing "night for the Super Bowl champions", meaning this game took place in 1989, since the Redskins won the Super Bowl in '88. Additionally, he said "Mark Rypien has some big shoes to fill." Rypien took over the starting QB role in '89 over the Super Bowl MVP Williams. The slow motion shot was probably a Super Bowl highlight. Given this was a night game with the Redskins missing a field goal, it was the Nov 20, 1989 game vs Denver Broncos where the Redskins lost 10-14.
Question: Let's say the Joker was alive and released along with all the other prisoners. If he learns that Bane at one point tried to have Batman killed, what would Joker do? Would he try to have Bane, and by extension Talia, killed? If Batman came back, would Joker work with him to kill Bane, or allow Gotham to be destroyed. Due to different goals, who Joker and Bane somehow face off? And would some old followers betray Bane and follow Joker instead?
Answer: It is beyond implausible to presume that the Joker would have been locked away in Blackgate Prison. The previous movie has shown the Joker to have been a terrorist and extremely psychotic. Someone like the Joker would have been put away in a far more secure prison than Blackgate, one that has far more higher grade security and one that is specifically designed to hold people like him.
The Switch - S2-E2
Question: In this episode, Carlton is told by Linda that he's too old for her so he decides to undergo surgery to become younger. Eventually, he looks just like Hans. At the end of the episode, when Carlton visits Linda, he sees that she's now with Hans, who looks exactly like him. If Carlton was too old for Linda, then why was she still with Hans, since he now has Carlton's body and therefore his old age? Since Carlton was too old for her, that would mean that now Hans is too old for her too.
Answer: It's just the show's typical ironic ending. It turns out Linda was more interested in money than looks, and the surgery and loss of his fortune were unnecessary.
