Question: Someone made this trivia contribution: "At the end of the movie where the Oracle is talking to the Architect, there is a plaque on the bench she is sitting on which says 'In memory of Thomas A. Anderson.'" Where did this come from? At no point in the movie is there a clear shot of the plaque to make out its words, and in no behind the scene specials does anyone mention that last scene.

Question: Right after Blackburn falls, Everest calls over Galentine so he can contact Capt Steele. Galentine tries several times but can't raise him. Then Everest uses his communicator to try and raise him. Why would he call over a soldier who is defending their location to do something he can do himself?
Answer: First off its Eversmann, and he called over Galentine because he had the large radio on his back. It would cause less static, and he then used his radio to call Steele creating two calls to the same person which would make Steele know the situation was urgent.
Question: In the tape, we see some fingers in a box and something white running down a black screen (a comb through the hair maybe?), but what is the relevance of this to Samara?
Answer: Seven fingers in the box represents the seven days she was alive in the well. The hair combing represents Samara's view of the world, since her hair always covered her face.
Question: The two credited Film Editors according to IMDB are Tariq Anwar and Christopher Greenbury. However only Tariq Anwar was Oscar nominated for this film, why is this?
Answer: According to www.oscars.org, both were nominated.
Question: During the song "When you Believe" a little girl says a bunch of stuff in Hebrew. What is she saying, and what is the translation for it?
Answer: "Ashira ladonai ki gaoh gaah, Ashira ladonai ki gaoh gaah, Michamocha baelim adonai, Mikamocha nedarba kodesh, Nachitah v'chas d'cha am zu gaalta, Nachitah v'chas d'cha am zu gaalta, Ashira, ashira, ashira..." Question: I was wondering if there was supposed to be any connection between the six original conspirators and the victims one hundred years later? Obviously Father Malone was a direct descendant of one of the conspirators, but what about the other five? I thought maybe it was about roles, like a priest, three fishermen, a weather man and an old lady, maybe? Or was it just any six people who had to die? That doesn't seem to make sense because the zombies were going to kill Stevie and her son and the people at the church. Maybe they would have stopped after six were dead, I don't know. I also doubt that the six who died were all relatives of the six conspirators, what are the odds of the three fishermen all being relatives of the conspirators and being on the same boat? Anybody got any ideas?
Chosen answer: From what I've gathered from listening to the DVD commentary there is no connection between the six that must die and the original conspirators (Father Malone aside). I've always found it quite silly that fog, which is seen roaring down the streets of town, seems hell bent on getting the main charaters and not bothering anybody else in the town.
If one reads the novelization of the film, it's revealed that the six were descendants of the original six conspirators. Although it wouldn't apply to the movie, it's an interesting plot point.
Question: I'm an Aussie who just bought the box-set of CSI Series 1 DVD's and I was wondering why all the episodes have a different opening song? It definitely isn't 'Who Are You?' but the song's credit is still at the end of every episode. Was there some copyright issues or something?
Answer: Pete Townshend did a "remix" of the song. If you listen to it all the way through (it's about 6-7 mins long) You will find that it is the same piece of music.
Question: What is the name of the Japanese song that plays prominently during the whole film, especially during almost all of the ending? It has both instrumental and vocal parts, and can be heard for the first time when Sandy and Hiromitsu make love.
Answer: I think its called "Chinsagu no Hana".
Question: When Reese finds Sasha's body, you can hear Sasha's voice saying something over and over again, as if on a loop. Does anyone know a) what she's saying and b) what's causing it?
Chosen answer: She is saying "I'm not stuck, he is!" which was what the caller was saying when she was disconnected.
Question: In the episode, 'Whisper', there is a character that makes a very high pitched feedback like noise. Is this a character that was in the old comics and can anyone tell me how this guy does that noise?
Answer: No, there is no such character in the comics. He's a "meteor-freak" like all the other baddies on the show. The sound has something to do with him vibrating his vocal cords very fast to create a high-pitched squeal.
Question: I know this is a weird question but does anyone know how to play sticks? It is said on the DVD that the kids taught it to Jack Black and that it is a finger game but that is all we are told.
Answer: Sticks is a game where 2 players hold up both hands, and point one finger out of both hands. One player starts, and hits the opposing player's finger. The hand that the one player just hit then has two fingers. The 2nd player then does the same, either using the hand with 2 fingers, or just one. Once both hands get all five fingers up, they lose. But if one hand has 2 or a nother even-number amount of fingers up, they can split the 2 or 4 up, making 1 or 2 fingers on each hand.

Question: Sydney goes to a bar (I think it's in Frankfurt) pretending to work for a chemist and persuades the man that she can make his drinks sell better. What is the name of the song playing during this scene?
Answer: Bad Day by R.E.M.
Question: When Mr. Sir goes to the warden's house with Stanley to tell her he stole the sunflower seeds, he puts something green in his mouth, what is it?
Answer: He's eating a candy 'fruit' wedge. I remember him holding them when Stanley is first shown into his tent so I assume that he confiscated them from Stanley.
Question: The instrumental music being played in the hospital when Brad Pitt is talking to the Jamaican lady sounds familiar, not composed solely for the movie. Anyone know what it is?
Chosen answer: The music played is just another part of the original score composed by Thomas Newman. His music, like many composers', sounds similar in different movies on which he has worked. You may be recognizing similarities to other scores such as The Green Mile, The Shawshank Redemption, Road to Perdition, etc.
Question: Does anyone know what historically happened to Red's parents?
Answer: I have tried to look this up, and there is no record of Red's parents. Most likely they just died of old age.
Question: What is the song playing over the end of "Reaping Havoc", after Betty has thrown herself into the void? It plays at several other times this season, but this is the first and longest playing of it.
Chosen answer: The Song is Callled "Boom Boom Ba" and is by the band Metisse. it plays at certain points during the series. Mainly when George is looking over Reggie or in Reaping Havoc where it plays whilst shes showing her scrapbook "Mysterious and Reassuring" which is what she thought Betty was.
Question: The Flanders live on one side of the Simpsons, who lives on the other side? Note: Not Gerald Ford, he lives across the street from them.

Question: Why does Kim tell Rick that her Dad is dead?
Answer: The sympathy vote. She liked him and wanted to score with him. By saying that, she figured he would maybe hug her or hold her or something.
Question: I have heard many people say this film had over 10 endings in the theater. What is this supposed to mean? For me, 10 endings means that the ending changes each time; like the ending in Clue, where each new one means the others didn't happen in that strain. In ROTK, there are several scenes after the climax of the trilogy happens at Mount Doom. Is the 10 ending note just supposed to mean there is a long epilogue?
Answer: Basically, yes. The point is that there is a scene which finishes dramatically and you think 'ah, this is the end' but then there is another scene which also finishes dramatically and you think 'oh, this is the end' but, no, there is yet another scene. When people are saying it has 10 endings they mean that the filmmakers could have ended the film much sooner than they did. They are over exaggerating when they say 10 endings, because they are just trying to make the point.
