In close-ups, they both cast a shadow behind their back (so, in opposite directions, since they are to the right and to the left of the hatch), but in the establishing shot they both cast a shadow in the same direction. Also, the floor itself does not have the same markings between shots. (00:03:20)

Continuity mistake: The car at the beginning of the movie stops, and one of the officers exits it to open the door to Mrs. Reardon. The movements of the policeman are in continuity between shots, but the extras on the sidewalk completely change. (00:01:00)
