Seeing that he's not eating much, Nicole Kidman asks him if he would like her to ask the maid Etta to make something else. On Theo's right, Andy is holding the fork with his right hand. As Theo answers "I'm not hungry", Andy's left hand suddenly is on the table too. (00:06:00)

Continuity mistake: Jake and Wendall are talking on the track field as they pull some weights. The strap attached to Wendall's glasses keeps moving in front and behind his shoulder between shots. (00:03:30)

Continuity mistake: Izzy gets out of the car of her one night stand and lights up a cigarette. She begins to type on her phone, phone in the left, cig in the right. A jogger bumps her and in the next shot she coughs on purpose to try and make her put the cigarette out. From now on, Izzy's phone is in her right hand and her cigarette in her left hand. (00:08:05)

Continuity mistake: After the announcement from her boss that she is scheduled to 'marry' her quasi-fake BF, Ana goes to the gym to meet her friend. When they are talking, she says "it's been forever, it's already kind of worn out." Ana's ponytail is in front of her shoulder, and goes back behind her back in the next shot. (00:10:00)

Continuity mistake: When we see Christmas Flint with her dad and Miss Rayleen for the first time, she's watching them bicker, her chin perched on the back of her hand. Which hand, though? It's her left hand for the greater part of the scene, but in the shot when Jim Gaffigan is saying "I got to find my pants. You move my pants?" it's the right one. (00:05:00)

Continuity mistake: When the Tartar princess Bortai is first shown, and throughout the first part of the scene when John Wayne and Pedro Armendáriz ride to check her out, she lies in a litter shrouded in shadows or perfectly lit, depending on the shot. (00:03:40)

Continuity mistake: During the Memorial Day toast, Katie's hand is on and off the glass between shots. The level of wine in the glass also changes inconsistently. (00:12:20)

Continuity mistake: Priscila carries Helen's bag while she gets her seat. She gives her the bag using her left, while she keeps her own in her right hand. Cut, and Pauline Collins is turning around passing her bag from the left hand to the right. (00:07:40)

Continuity mistake: Between the shot when Joker widens his smile painting it with blood and the following wider angle, the items people in clown mob are waving around change suddenly. (01:52:10)

Continuity mistake: Leaning against the car during the riots, Joker's face paint is smeared with a tear exactly the way it was when he walked out of the subway before the Murray Franklin show. But of course it went through a lot of fixing since. (01:46:45)

Continuity mistake: During the first part of the interview, Murray Franklin's hands keep changing position inconsistently holding cue cards or being flat on the desk. (01:39:25)

Continuity mistake: In front of the audience, Joker sits down. After awkward silence he says that it's all just as he imagined and Murray Franklin has a comeback joke. The guest to the far end of the couch has his arms crossed, which become just his fingers entwined at the cut. (01:39:20)

Continuity mistake: Murray is leaving the dressing room assigned to Arthur, but he asks "one small thing." He is holding the cup with the hand over the lid; when he leans back into the room he is holding the cup by the side. (01:36:20)

Continuity mistake: Arthur leans against the door frame and has a creepy chat with Randall. Joaquin Phoenix's hair is plastered to his temple in a different way between shots. (01:26:30)

Continuity mistake: The two former coworkers ring Arthur Fleck's doorbell. The door is suddenly fully open when he lets them in, but was less than half opened when they were talking. (01:26:20)

Continuity mistake: Arthur is by his mother's hospital bed, smoking. Cut to a closer view ("That's the real me"), and his shoulders are in full sunlight, while he was in the shadow only a moment before. (01:20:30)

Continuity mistake: When Arthur's neighbour walks on him drying himself up in her living room, the leftmost toy on the table in front of him has the shape next to the unicorn fitting the board in the front view, but in the reverse shot the piece is off the slot. (01:17:20)

Continuity mistake: In the shot when he turns the last 2 corners in the corridor before getting to the stairs, the file in Arthur's hands is facing the opposite way compared to before and after - the label should be on the inside, not the outside. (01:13:20)

Continuity mistake: Thomas Wayne and Arthur Fleck are talking in the bathroom. Joaquin Phoenix's hair changes position on his forehead several times even when he does not touch it and/or shakes his head. (01:06:15)

Continuity mistake: During the scene when Arthur is making funny faces at the kid, the hair wisps on Joaquin Phoenix's forehead change position between shots. The mother also turns slightly towards him in almost every cut, but his antics are in continuity. She keeps 'just noticing' him and turning towards him without the opposite movement to balance.
