Continuity mistake: When Rick reminds Magnum the codes for their last 'Nam mission, he's on Magnum's right and Magnum's microphone is on the left side of his jaw. When Magnum talks to TC convincing him not to fire, Rick is on Magnum's left and their microphones are on the right side. (01:27:00)

Continuity mistake: When TC looks at the picture the psychologist assigns him as target, the thumb of his right hand is visible in close-up, but the reverse shot shows that he's holding it with the left hand only. (01:21:00)

Continuity mistake: Nuzo is at TC's arming himself like in 'Nam. There's a beer cooler on the table; he does not touch it but when the other two 'Nam buddies arrive the cooler moved. Also, there's a cassette player by him implying that he is listening to "Satisfaction", which he hums some verses to. However, there is no further showing of the tape player later and the song eventually fades without anyone removing the object. (00:55:50)

Continuity mistake: At the airbase, Greene is reporting to his superior, who suggests him to let Magnum in on the danger. The actors were positioned differently on the location and/or time elapsed during the scene, because the Admiral's head casts a shadow right on his collar and behind his neck in the close-ups, while his back and collar are fully in the sun in the wider views. Continuity mistake: Magnum walks in on Greene checking out Mac's corpse in Trauma. During the scene Magnum' sling looks different in different angles; in the close-ups bandage going down the left side of his neck and shoulders are visible, but absent in the other shots before and after. (00:43:40)

Continuity mistake: At the Boom Boom Room (at least that's how Higgins christens it) the waitress serves drinks to Magnum, his date and the third candle. The woman plucks away all the straws and decorations while Thomas takes one of those fake tiny sips from his bottle. At the cut, the stick the pineapple is on switched side of the glass, and her hand clawed around the glass has the fingers spread in different fashion. (00:35:40)

Continuity mistake: In the scene with Ivan calling TC a ni**er, he grabs the cage and holds it in a spot that is above the joint, or below it, depending on the angle, back and forth a few times. (00:26:20)

Continuity mistake: When Magnum is in the middle of his deductive process, Higgins indulges him answering that hardly anyone manufactures the gunpowder he needs anymore because of the low flashpoint. There's a cut in the middle of the sentence; the matches lined up in front of the chopping board are positioned differently on the right end, the one he places the newest victim at. (00:08:20)

Continuity mistake: Magnum walks up to Higgins as he is beheading the matches. In the first shot he put just his hand on the desk, in close-up he is leaning all the way with his elbow. (00:07:20)

Continuity mistake: In the ending, between cuts you can spot multiple continuity errors involving the friends' chopsticks; for instance when TC asks how the date with Higgy was, Thomas' hand was hovering above the lid, but it's inside the container right at the cut. (00:40:30)

Continuity mistake: In the terrorists' SUV, Higgins tells Magnum he's "extremely perilous to one's health", facing him, and then looks straight forward, turning her head. Next shot and she's still facing him. (00:36:15)

Continuity mistake: Magnum and Higgins are tailing the terrorist in the big red tallywacker. In the little intermission with the fish smell gag, Perdita Weeks is not wearing her seatbelt, while she does previously and after. The belt goes on and off also when they are found out. (00:34:00)

Continuity mistake: When the staff sings Happy Birthday to Magnum, Higgins joins in. Both Magnum and Juliett touch their own face with lack of continuity from one shot to the next (her hand is under her chin or not, his hand is suddenly at the side of their head, etc). Likewise when the maitre tells Magnum that they will bring the cake into the kitchen, a man behind Magnum claps right over his shoulder, only for his hands to be gone in the next shot. (00:32:35)

Continuity mistake: At the restaurant, Higgins tells Magnum that his client served in the Vietnam war. When she says that, Magnum has just put down his fork, but in the next shot, when he looks at her surprised, the fork is back in his hand all of a sudden. (00:31:50)

Continuity mistake: During the conversation with Magnum about going to dinner to investigate, in particular after her refusal, the bottle of glue stays firmly in Higgins' hand during the close-ups, but when it cuts to wider shots it pops at distance on the table. (00:27:00)

Continuity mistake: Magnum and Rick find the fish abandoned in the middle of the road. In the first POV shot camming towards the fish, there's a bed of ice cubes all around the big tuna. In the close-up the ice cubes are scattered leaving a sizeable portion of asphalt visible. (00:21:35)

Continuity mistake: Magnum tastes Kamekona's sauce and says "That's not bad." The big guy lets go of the wooden spoon, but in the next shot he's holding it again. (00:12:15)
