Continuity mistake: TC and Higgins look into the guest house. From the top of the stairs looking down, there's a newspaper that is perfectly perched on top of the lamp shade. When they get downstairs and Higgins muses about abhorrent acts of perversion involving lizards, the sheet got limp. (00:37:45)

Continuity mistake: Magnum's dad says on tape "I'll be home by the 4th." Both Magnum and his mom cheer. In close-up on Mrs. Magnum as the tape says "I hope so", Mini-Magnum is casting a shadow on her, but he was at greater distance in the previous shot, no shadow. (00:36:50)

Continuity mistake: TC gets anxious after passing by "She-Magnum" and honks at the cars in front of him at the traffic lights. It's obvious from the light and the buildings that the traffic lights shot is not matching the other views. (00:29:10)

Continuity mistake: Agatha is consoling Higgins for the loss at polo. She tells him that it was good strategy as she puts the pot down and puts her hand on the teacup. Next shot and as she elaborates she is holding nothing and putting her hand down to get the cup just then. (00:19:35)

Continuity mistake: TC is driving his team of youngsters for the 4th of July game; in the aerial shot of the van, it is driving a different road than the one shown in the interior view, and it's driving on the leftmost lane while it had cars on both sides of it and the right railing has been closer. Continuity mistake: Bo is waiting for Luke's escapade with Laurie, and meanwhile listens to Al Unser Jr.'s story narrated by Laurence Fishburne. He checks out of the case of the tape propping it against the left or the right of the steering wheel depending on the camera angle. (00:02:40)

Continuity mistake: Magnum is eating a banana and asking Rick to do his job for him. Rick says "Then you're not sure that this Lindsey guy knocked his partner off" and folds his arms, which are again extended as before after the cut. (00:27:25)

Continuity mistake: Magnum meets Florence Russell clearing out of the office. He tells her that they are looking for a place where to put the equipment, and she shrugs saying "It's allright." Continuity mistake: The announcer is describing the first bikini. The model, seen through the screen, slips the cover-up robe in her left hand, but at the cut that hand is free and goes on her hip. When she makes her exit from the stage, the same robe goes from her hip to over her shoulder. (00:01:45)

Continuity mistake: When Barbara the trick rider flirts with Rick, runs her fingers down his chest in the first shot, she's holding his scarf in the next one, and again her hands are on/off the scarf between cuts. (00:43:10)

Continuity mistake: Rick in rodeo clown garb yells (through an obvious dubbed-over line) Elmo to watch out for the loose bull. During the longshots that clown has his hands together on his lap, but in the preceding and following close-ups Larry Manetti has his hands supporting him on the beam. (00:32:45)

Continuity mistake: During the conversation between Higgins and Rick and TC upon his arrival - when he recalls meeting Elmo on D-Day - the same cowboy extras walk about the premises, sometimes incoherently even between consecutive shots - look at the one with a red shirt far off in the background, going opposite directions as Higgins pronounces the words "During the war" across a cut. (00:29:55)

Continuity mistake: Higgins steps foot on his brother's traveling show, and spots two familiar faces. "I say, are you both joining the band?", he asks. Rick's neck handkerchief has a bit inside his open shirt, but it's out in the next shot. (00:29:45)
