Continuity mistake: When Saori is sipping her cup of tea, the background shows the window and a shadow coming down in a curved pattern. Later when she gets up, the shadows are straight and at a different angle. (00:04:40)

Continuity mistake: Saori waves off Tatsumi and his tray of newspapers. In the next shot, her earring becomes a solid circle instead of the pearl grape earring she wears in the rest of the scene (with same angle and camera distance, it's not a simplification of the drawing). (00:04:55)

Continuity mistake: Maggie starts talking about the suspects showing the photos to her ex who totally has something else on his mind. Touching Leo Triviano's picture, she drags it so that it touches the wife's, but in close-up the pictures are divergent. (00:19:15)

Continuity mistake: Henry spills coffee and then goes to the two clumsy detectives' desk checking on their lack of progress with the shredded note. There's another police officer in the background, a heavy man with a white shirt, suspenders and a bald head. This man is, depending on the camera position, sitting at his desk on the phone, or standing talking with another officer. (00:18:00)
