Continuity mistake: When Clark is about to jump in front of the train, there's a crossing sign shaped as an X. Depending on the shot the front upper left part is either bent and about to break, straight, or missing.

Continuity mistake: When the Kent's stop the truck and see the cradle, the sky swaps from sunny and clear to heavily cloudy in a second.

Continuity mistake: Clark enters the barn to fiddle with his green crystal. When he exits, a huge amount of stuff from his childhood has magically appeared around the place.

Continuity mistake: When Kent's father pulls over his car, he holds the steering wheel with his right hand on the top. From the side, barely a frame before, he has his left hand on the side.

Other mistake: During the 25 years time span of the movie, all of the characters age noticeably except for Clover and Damon. He, miraculously, goes through his teens, 20s and up to his late 40s gaining just a couple of gray hairs and a few wrinkles around his mouth, plus the same young voice from the early days.

Superman IV: The Quest for Peace mistake picture

Continuity mistake: When Superman is walking with the kid towards the UN, they pass by a fire hydrant and one can see the street ahead is empty. A shot later another hydrant suddenly appears but the white benches disappear.

Suggested correction: The fire hydrant in question is actually two. The one they first pass is slightly faded with chipped paint. The next shot you see a different one that is fully painted red. The next shot shows the crowd passing the first hydrant seen.

Continuity mistake: When Superman and Lois are flying together, the train below drives from right to left, but half a second later it is moving in the opposite direction.

Continuity mistake: Nuclear Man arrives at Luthor's apt. and steps into a dark corner, where he loses his powers. From the opposite angle the place is filled with light, so Nuclear Man shouldn't have lost his strength.

Continuity mistake: When Nuclear Man arrives on Earth, he enters a shady place which makes him lose his power and cools his body, producing some frozen-like smoke. The next two times that he enters a dark place (inside the elevator and in space) he doesn't produce the smoke.

Continuity mistake: When the terrorist Karl is about to kill the man in the front desk, his fringe changes from neat and combed to slightly messy from one frame to the other.

Continuity mistake: When Superman leads nuclear man inside the building to find lacy, an old man turns sideways to let Super in. A frame later he is back facing the door.

Continuity mistake: Luthor holds a sealed champagne bottle with both hands on the neck of it. He doesn't move them, nor his shoulders, nor do we hear any sound revealing that the bottle's being opened. However, when Luthor leaves, the bottle's seal appears opened and 20 centimeters away when the scene ends.

Continuity mistake: In the gym, a man leaves a towel on a low wall. Watch the blue and grey stripes and you'll notice that its position is different between shots.

Revealing mistake: Before Superman brings the cosmonaut safely to his spaceship the entrance door wiggles as if made of cardboard. There's no air in space and it's supposed to be a strong, solid structure.
