Continuity mistake: When Marty tells George how to flirt with Lorraine, they both enter the diner and Marty sits on the back of the counter but disappears between shots, only to reappear later on. Also, the extras around him change, although they're all dressed in similarly colored clothes. Check a man in a plaid jacket next to the blonde girl in pink, who disappears when Marty trips Biff. This continuity havoc was due to the combination of Eric Stoltz scenes and new Michael J. Fox reshoots.

Continuity mistake: When Miguel/Teddy Bear is given food by the pedophile, he reaches for it. Shot changes, and his hand is now behind the table as he reaches for it again.

Continuity mistake: When one of the Jets jumps on the pickup to unload all the veggies and watermelons, the car on the left changes between shots. Also, when he is about to unload the veggies, the pick-up is approaching a blue squared van on the left. The shot changes, and the van is further away.

Revealing mistake: When Simon is in the helicopter and shoots at McClane, check the metal strips next to his feet and the protruding metal parts where the squibs have been placed to allow for the pyrotechnics.

Visible crew/equipment: When Simon and Katya are in the helicopter, both are replaced by obvious stunts. Simon has dyed blond hair as opposed to his brunette stunt, while she has short and straight hair, but her stunt's is long and curly.

Continuity mistake: When Keating tells the students to draw a graph, they all follow him step by step. For a specific shot, Meeks mimics what Keating writes on the board and draws a bar graph and colours it. Problem is, Keating does not draw the bar and colour it until a shot later. The movie should have been edited the other way around.
