Continuity mistake: After Clark Kent smashes cake on a man's face, the amount of cake increases in the close-up, especially on his neck.

Continuity mistake: When a man tries to pick up the toy penguins, a close shot shows them walking, but on the wide shot they are standing still.

Continuity mistake: When Lenny leads his car with the cops in, the car is facing a very short road ending in a small mount of rocks. The following wider angle shows a very wide open space with grass and a huge cliff.

Continuity mistake: When Igor is holding onto the cemetery gate, his hands swap between angles from holding two bars close to each other, to having an empty bar in between.

Continuity mistake: At the cemetery gate, Dr. F tells Igor to crouch, which he does but very slightly. In the following angle Igor's position is totally different, being crouched at ground level with his hands on a different place.

Continuity mistake: When watching the grave diggers with Igor, Dr. F's hand on Igor's shoulder swaps sides depending on the angle.

Continuity mistake: Behind where Nuclear Man lands there's no school bus on the wide shot, which is a matte painting, but a frame later one appears and stays there for the rest of the scene.

Continuity mistake: When nuclear Man bursts the cab's hood, the radiator explodes and vanishes. A second later it's back on.

Other mistake: When Clark Kent enters the subway, the set is the same as the rampage later in the film; only that the second time we see this set, the subway entrance has vanished.

Visible crew/equipment: In the quarry, when the cops' car flies up the air you can see the ramp used to lift it on the lower left side of the screen.

Continuity mistake: After Nuclear Man lands on Metropolis a black man in a grey suit keeps moving from a white pole to a parking sign between each shot.

Continuity mistake: When Nuclear Man lands on Metropolis a cop on the right is opening the door of his car. In the next shot he is repeating the movement.

Continuity mistake: When Dr. F arrives at the train station there's a lot of smoke/fog around him. In the close-up that comes a split second later it's all gone.
