Continuity mistake: The huge scorpion arrives on the right, then grabs and pulls Milhouse's left ankle. He should loose balance and fall over the scorpion, but instead the angle changes and he has now turned around and is falling softly on his back. The scorpion, oddly enough, is gone only to appear again seconds later.

Continuity mistake: Milhouse asks the Captain if the scorpion queen was big. When he looks at him and says "Yes", in the following angle the Captain's head is looking someplace else, without him having turned it.

Continuity mistake: The Captain is down in the cellar and stumbles with something and loses his balance. Shot cuts in the middle of the fall, and he suddenly appears standing up about 2 meters to the left and 5 meters ahead. Quite a big jump for a loss of balance.

However, when the van pulls over and he gets out, the shot is flipped to fix this, but the next angle of the back of the van isn't flipped and shows the left door open. The movie was shot in the U.S.
