Trivia: Just a cute background detail: At the beginning of the film, a character briefly mentions that she wants to be "Miss Arizona." If you look closely at the background at the end of the film, you can see her standing around with a "Miss Arizona" sash on. Evidently she made it.

General questions
I remember seeing part of the premiere of a show about 10 years ago. I don't know how long the show went on, but the scene always stuck with me. I think it was a show about court judges (maybe supreme court) and their associates. And there was a scene where an older judge said a cute rhyme about justice/court to a new person. There were also a group of judges in the scene, and they kept referring to each other as "Justice so-and-so." The scene was also set outside if IIRC. Ring anyone's bell?

Trivia: Just an interesting thing to note. The villain of the episode is an unhinged character named "Jubal Early," and is played by Richard Brooks. Six years earlier in 1996, Brooks starred in the film "The Crow: City of Angels," where he also appeared as a similarly unhinged villain... with the remarkably similar name "Judah Earl." Just a fun, odd coincidence.

Continuity mistake: SPOILERS: During the final scene, when Samuel L. Jackson is "puppeted" to lift his arm up to make it look like he's pointing a gun at the SWAT team, the number of laser-sights visible on his chest changes between cuts. In the wide-shot, there's only three, but when it punches into a close-up, suddenly there are five.

Trivia: In an early draft of the script, the story was re-written so that Hill House was actually a mental hospital where Eleanor was a patient, and the other characters were doctors and staff. It would be revealed that Eleanor was mentally ill and was misinterpreting the things around her as being supernatural in origin. However, this idea was discarded and the film was re-written to be more faithful to the original novel.

Trivia: Julie Harris was very aloof during filming and would often ignore her co-stars behind the scenes - especially Claire Bloom. Bloom felt very hurt by this. However, after filming, Harris showed up at Bloom's house with a gift and revealed that she actually really liked Bloom and her other co-stars. She behaved as she did during filming because she was trying to stay in-character between takes, and was worried that her performance as an outsider would suffer if she was friendly with her co-stars.

Trivia: At the tryouts, you can actually find some familiar faces. Comedian Dane Cook plays "Waffleman" in a cameo. Dana Gould also appears in a cameo as "Squeegeeman." And "Pencilhead" is played by Doug Jones, who is perhaps best known for playing roles under heavy makeup, appearing in films like "Hellboy," "Pan's Labyrinth" and "The Shape of Water" as various monsters and creatures.

Answer: There was a movie titled, "The First Monday in October," about the Supreme Court. It shows what happens behind the scenes. If it's a TV series, there are two, "First Monday," a spin-off series. The second is "The Court," also about the Supreme Court. Both premiered in 2002. They were dramas and both were cancelled after half a season.
It very well could be one of those. Unfortunately, I can only find a few clips from "First Monday" and can't find any clips from "The Court," so it's hard to tell if it's either of them.
