Scream VI (2023)

Audio problem: When Jason dies, he says the line, "But we have to finish the movie." If you pay attention, his mouth isn't moving for the word "but."

Scream VI (2023)

Continuity mistake: When Jason collapses after being stabbed, the pictures on the refrigerator behind him change slightly between edits, as it cuts to a wideshot. It happens quickly, so you have to pay close attention. (Like some of them shifted during the different takes as he slid down.)

Scream VI (2023)

Revealing mistake: When Jason is getting stabbed to death, there's a quick 2-second shot showing him being stabbed repeatedly in the stomach, with part of his intestines hanging out. But if you pay close attention, there's no actual damage occurring with any of the stabs, revealing it's just an effect. Likely either a collapsible prop knife or a CGI knife being stabbed into him.

Scream VI (2023)

Continuity mistake: After Jason washes his hands, his phone rings. In the wide shot, his phone is about 3" from the edge of the counter. In the closeup, the phone is actually hanging about 1" over the counter.

Scream VI (2023)

Continuity mistake: When Jason is looking at Professor Crane's dead body, the amount and pattern of the blood on the front of her dress, and the position of her head changes slightly between the two shots we see her. There is significantly more blood in the second shot, and her head is tilted down a bit more.

Scream VI (2023)

Continuity mistake: When Professor Crane is killed, the amount and pattern of the blood dripping from her mouth and down her chin changes subtly between shots, at one point.

Scream VI (2023)

Continuity mistake: When Professor Crane is in the alley and the Ghostface voice says "No, it's not," she's scared by four people in Halloween costumes behind her. The way they're standing and walking by changes between shots.

Scream VI (2023)

Continuity mistake: When professor Crane is texting her date, at one point she reaches over and takes a quick drink in a wide shot. The editing is awkward. In the closeup, both of her hands are on her phone. Then, in the next shot, suddenly her left hand is reaching towards her drink. Then she starts to move her hand back towards her phone, but it cuts again, and she's instantly holding the phone in the EXACT same way as before. It looks like the shot of her taking a drink was cut in to break up the phone shot.

Scream VI (2023)

Continuity mistake: When Professor Crane picks up her phone for the first time at the beginning of the film, the way she's holding it in her hands changes slightly between cuts.

Scream VI (2023)

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the film, when Professor Crane's phone first buzzes, her right hand goes from near the right side of her face to down over her left shoulder instantly between cuts.

Scream VI (2023)

Trivia: When the therapist is watching TV shortly before he is killed, there's a VHS box sitting next to his TV labeled "Dead Meat." This is a reference to the YouTube channel "Dead Meat," in which husband and wife duo James A. Janisse and Chelsea Rebecca do reviews and podcasts on horror movies and media. They're friends with the directors and also had a cameo in "Scream (2022)."

Trivia: Tobe Hooper played up the black comedy in this sequel as he felt that all the dark humor in the original had been ignored by audiences due to the film's shocking content. He wanted to make sure that audiences knew the film was meant to be scary AND funny.

Child's Play (1988)

Trivia: Many ideas from the original script that were cut were later recycled into the various sequels. Series creator Don Mancini has stated that if he comes up with a good scene that doesn't quite fit one Chucky movie, he always keeps it written down because there's a very good chance it could be used in a later sequel.

Child's Play (1988)

Trivia: In an eerie example of life sort of imitating art, Ed Gale, an actor with dwarfism who doubled as Chucky in a couple of shots in the first few of the "Child's Play" movies (in addition to playing the titular character in "Howard the Duck"), was caught by an online sex predator hunting group in a sting operation in 2023.

Child's Play (1988)

Trivia: Chris Sarandon was supposed to be top-billed, but insisted that Catherine Hicks instead be given top billing, despite being a smaller "name," as she was the lead character and he admired her performance.

Child's Play (1988)

Trivia: The actor in the full-sized Chucky suit on the commercial was John Franklin, perhaps best known for playing Isaac in the original "Children of the Corn." Isaac often portrayed younger or smaller-statured "suit" characters despite being an adult due to a growth-hormone deficiency that resulted in him being shorter than average. (And having a very young-looking face.)

The Gang Goes to the Jersey Shore - S7-E2

Trivia: When Frank and Mac are on the ship, you can see a short woman in sunglasses dancing near Frank in a few shots. If you're familiar with internet culture, you might recognize her as Rosanna Pansino, a famous YouTuber. (Though here she's made up to resemble "Snooki" from the show "Jersey Shore"). Pansino is known for her nerd-themed cooking show "Nerdy Nummies," silly challenge videos, and product reviews. She's a huge Danny DeVito fan and managed to score a role as an extra on this episode.

Halloween II - S2-E1

Trivia: When the bomb goes off, if you pay attention, the green smoke that billows into the sky subtly takes on the image of Chucky's face for a few seconds.

Darkman (1990)

Continuity mistake: When Durant and his thugs attack Peyton, as Durant asks about the memorandum, Peyton says he doesn't know what Durant is talking about. To this, Durant replies, "Unfortunate." Durant is literally right next to Peyton. Durant's thug then grabs Peyton, and it cuts to a wider angle. Durant completely vanishes between cuts. Both shots are pointed in the same general direction, so Durant should be (very) visible in the background of the wide-shot.
