Trivia: At the prom, the popular girls tell a couple that there's "no room" at their table. The couple is dressed like Mary and Joseph of the Bible, whom were told there was "no room" at the inn (and therefore had to give birth to Jesus in a stable).
Trivia: The tune the band is playing on the football field when Josie is getting her car is the opening theme from The Simpsons.
Trivia: When they are at the prom, you see two people spiking the punch. This famous couple is Raoul Duke and his attorney from Hunter S. Thompson's "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas."
Trivia: During the scene at the club, when Josie asks to sit down, and is given the cake by one of the Rastafarian boys, he says something along the lines of "It's got vitamin A, vitamin B, vitamin THC." For those who may not realise, THC is the abbreviation for tetrahydrocannabis, the active component of marijuana.
Trivia: Pay close attention when Josie is at lunch with her co workers. She's explaining what a kiss should be like and couples either side of her start making out.
Trivia: Future YouTube personalities Mike Stoklasa and Rich Evans from RedLetterMedia were extras during the carnival scene. Stoklasa was on the spinning swing ride in the background while Evans can just barely be seen wandering about in the crowd in wide-shots. Despite it being a three night shoot, the two quit after only one night because they were miserable. Especially Stoklasa, who became physically ill after being on the swing ride for two hours straight.
