Trivia: Many deliberate anachronisms were included in the film to hint that something wasn't quite right.

Ash vs Evil Dead (2015)
Trivia: Samara Weaving, whom co-starred in season one as backpacker Heather, became the subject of minor controversy after her episodes aired. Photos of Weaving covered in fake blood for the series were circulated by several Conservative social media accounts, with the false claims she was an American woman who was attacked by Liberals for being a Trump supporter. Weaving (who is actually from Australia) was disgusted by the experience, while series star Bruce Campbell called out the fake reports online.

Ash vs Evil Dead (2015)
Trivia: "Ash vs Evil Dead" originally began its life as a fourth film in the original "Evil Dead" series. However, so much potential material was written, that instead of a movie, producers Sam Raimi and Robert Tapert began shopping the project around as a potential TV-series. It was finally picked up by Starz and ran for three seasons.

Ash vs Evil Dead (2015)
Trivia: Almost all of the rock songs in the soundtrack (which are primarily songs Ash listens to on the radio) are from the 1970's and 1980's. This was done on purpose, to help illustrate how Ash has been stuck in a state of emotional arrested development since his original adventures - he hasn't really grown as a person since.

Ash vs Evil Dead (2015)
Trivia: "The Evil Dead" actress Ellen Sandweiss reprises her role as Cheryl in this episode, making her the only original film series actor other than Bruce Campbell and Ted Raimi to return for the series.

The Incredible Hulk (2008)
Trivia: Early drafts of the script were indeed written to be a direct sequel to the prior 2003 Ang Lee "Hulk" film. (Which explains some of the connections the films share, such as "Hulk" ending in South America and "The Incredible Hulk" opening there.) It was then retooled throughout pre-production to fit better into Marvel's Cinematic Universe concept, with producer Gale Anne Hurd referring to it as a "requel" - a combination of reboot and sequel. Finally, it was decided that the film would be a total reboot.

Serenity (2005)
Trivia: Though it's never said on-camera, Jayne's gun is called "Lux" in the film. The gun was named after a "Firefly" super-fan who used to do fan-art for the series in the same style as the show "South Park." He unfortunately passed away, so the prop was named after him in his honor.

Serenity (2005)
Trivia: "Serenity" has the somewhat dubious honor of being one of the first four films that were released on the ill-fated HD-DVD format on April 18th, 2006. (It was finally released on the competing Blu-Ray format two years later after HD-DVD was discontinued.) Even more dubious, "Serenity" was also the first HD-DVD film to be pirated on BitTorrent.

Garfield: The Movie (2004)
Trivia: Bill Murray agreed to be in the film without reading the full script upon seeing the name "Joel Cohen" listed as a writer. It turns out he thought he was signing onto a film co-written by "Joel Coen" of the Coen Brothers fame. It wasn't until he began recording his lines sometime later that he realised his mistake.

Bumblebee (2018)
Trivia: The film was originally made and marketed as a prequel to the prior "Transformers" films directed by Michael Bay. After the film was released to a much warmer critical and audience reception than the prior films, it was confirmed that instead of a prequel, "Bumblebee" will instead serve as a sort-of "reboot" of the series, and that future films will serve as direct sequels to it, without necessarily acknowledging the continuity of the Bay films.
