Midsommar (2019)

Trivia: The flower dress Dani wears at the end of the film took weeks to build, and included over 10,000 artificial flowers. The crew wanted to use real flowers, but it would have been impossible to keep them all alive. It was reportedly incredibly heavy and unwieldy, and actress Florence Pugh could barely move in it.

Midsommar (2019)

Midsommar trivia picture

Trivia: Near the end of the film, as Dani is lifted and being carried to the dinner table, if you look closely, you can see the ghostly image of her deceased sister's face (with the exhaust hose in her mouth) in the background. It's been superimposed over the trees in the distance. It's very subtle and easy to miss, but if you know where to look, it's there.

Scream (1996)

Trivia: The school scenes were originally meant to be filmed in the Santa Rosa High School. However, right before filming began, the school officials pulled out of the project. The crew was forced to scramble to find another school at the last second. Director Wes Craven was furious at the school board, and decided to poke some fun at them in the credits. If you wait around long enough, you'll see the message "No thanks whatsoever to the Santa Rosa City School District Governing Board."

Continuity mistake: In the first movie, Mathayus has an older brother named Jesup who is killed by the villain. However, in this prequel, Mathayus has a younger brother named Noah who is killed by the villain, and there is no mention of Jesup whatsoever. Given that Mathayus and Jesup were supposed to both be warriors with the same tribe, it makes absolutely no sense that he isn't at least mentioned in the film, and the movie seems to pretend he never even existed.

The Craft (1996)

Trivia: The film features the Love Spit Love cover of the song "How Soon is Now." The very next year, the series "Charmed" premiered, which used the exact same cover of the song as its theme song. The series "Charmed" is also about a group of young witches. (And in fact, several cast and crew members of "The Craft" have alleged that the series "Charmed" was a complete rip-off their movie, and the fact it used the same song is further proof of that).

Trivia: Some strange things happened on set during production. Particularly during the beach ritual scene - every time they'd start filming the scene, the tide would go crazy... and then immediately settle down when the director called "Cut!" A flock of bats also mysteriously appeared and hovered over set. Finally, when Nancy screamed the line "Manon, fill me!", all the power on set went out.

Blade II (2002)

Trivia: In the original script by David S. Goyer, the Reapers were much larger, more intricate in design and had many more monstrous features. Director Guillermo del Toro eventually reworked them into being much simpler creatures that were similar to regular vampires save for their pale skin and split jaws. He felt this made them scarier since they could blend in better.
