Scream 2 (1997)

Trivia: The shoot happened to coincide with the shoot for season four of "Party of Five," which also starred Neve Campbell. Because she had to film both simultaneously, and both had day and night shoots, she was working seven days a week, and often didn't have time to sleep... she'd go from one shoot right to the next, then hopefully be able to sleep after that.

Scream 2 (1997)

Trivia: In one scene, Randy randomly switches to speaking with an English accent for about 30 seconds. Randy's actor Jamie Kennedy has since admitted that he has no clue why he did it... he just did it during one of the takes as a random goof, and was shocked that they kept it in the finished film.

Scream 2 (1997)

Trivia: The script was a major hurdle during production. Because the studio wanted to protect the film's twist ending/killer reveal, most cast members weren't given the ending of the script until the day they filmed the twist ending/killer reveal scene. Part of the script was also leaked online, and thus those pages had to be rewritten on the fly so people wouldn't be able to guess the plot.

Scream 2 (1997)

Trivia: While a majority of the music is composed by Marco Beltrami, Dewey's musical theme is actually a piece from the 1996 action movie "Broken Arrow." It was used as a temp-track while editing and was intended to be replaced... but everyone working on the film fell in love with it since it seemed to perfectly sum up Dewey. The studio ended up licensing the music for use. Famed composer Danny Elfman also assisted by composing a piece of music for the scene where Sidney is in a play.

Scream (2022)

Trivia: The only "Scream" movie not to be scored by Marco Beltrami, who did the music for all four of the previous films. However, new composer Brian Tyler did use some pieces and snippets of Beltrami's themes in a few key places throughout the score.

Scream (2022)

Trivia: MINOR SPOILER ALERT FOR "SCREAM 4"/"SCREAM (2022)! When Richie is watching videos on YouTube, there is a thumbnail with an interview about a "Woodsboro Survivor," next to a picture of Kirby Reed from "Scream 4." It has been confirmed that this canonically means Kirby survived the fourth film, which has been a popular fan-theory, since she was stabbed and last seen in a pool of blood... but was shown to still just barely be breathing. (Her fate was left purposely ambiguous in "Scream 4.").

Scream (2022)

Trivia: Part of the reason Mason Gooding was cast in the film is that he was a massive fan of the original "Scream," and even wrote an essay about it in college. He let the producers read the essay while he was auditioning. The producers were very impressed by his passion for the franchise and his audition, and he was immediately hired.

Puppet Master (1989)

Continuity mistake: When Blade gets on the elevator in the beginning, pay attention to the legs of the woman in the elevator. When she gets on, she is wearing black stockings. When she gets off, she is wearing cream-colored stockings. The rest of her clothes that are visible are the same (same shoes, skirt, etc.), as is the wardrobe of the man who gets on and off with her, so it's meant to be the same woman. (There's also no indication that the elevator made any stops on the way up).

Trivia: The filmmakers wanted to make a puppet that would be the perfect "opposition" to the evil Nazis in the film. They came up with the idea for a cowboy puppet, since he could represent a popular American archetype, and of course the Americans opposed the Nazis in the war. They then combined the cowboy with an old idea for a six-armed ninja puppet, resulting in the popular puppet "Six Shooter."

Trivia: Stan Lee's cameo in this TV movie is actually his first official on-screen Marvel cameo. (Not counting two previous Marvel cartoons to which he served as a narrator.) He would eventually go on to have cameos in over 50 future Marvel film and TV shows, both live-action and animated, either appearing in-person, supplying his voice and likeness, or being seen in photographs. (Plus one animated DC movie.) His final cameo was in 2019's "Avengers: Endgame" - exactly 30 years after this TV movie.

Puppet Master (1989)

Trivia: Whenever we see a wide-shot of the Bodega Bay Inn on the cliffside, it's actually a scale model that's around the size of a refrigerator.

Trivia: The "sex-chair" that George Clooney builds is based on something the Coen Brothers had heard about from a crew-member on one of their first films. He also built a similar sex-chair by hand after being disgusted by the cost of a pre-built one.

Trivia: The costume designer wanted Brad Pitt's suit to look really bad, but to her surprise, she discovered that no matter how cheap or tacky the suit was that he tried on was... he looked good in every single one. She eventually discovered the secret to finally making him look bad was to purposely put him in a suit that had the wrong measurements for his body, and give him gaudy wool ties.

Trivia: Was written at the same time as the Coen Brothers' Academy Award-winning film "No Country for Old Men." They'd alternate day-by-day. One day they'd work on "No Country " the next they're work on "Burn After Reading."

Joe's Apartment (1996)

Trivia: !SPOILERS! Despite their prominent appearances in the film, being featured in most of the third act in multiple major sequences, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield were actually only on-set for a surprisingly short two weeks. For reference, filming for the entire movie took just over five months, meaning they were on-set for less than 10% of the total shoot.

Scream (2022)

Trivia: The first "Scream" movie not produced/distributed by Dimension Films and its associated companies, which were partially owned by Harvey Weinstein. Spyglass Media Group bought the rights to the franchise after Weinstein's infamous sexual abuse scandal, when Dimension/The Weinstein Company began selling off their properties.
