Longmire (2012)

The White Warrior - S3-E1

Continuity mistake: When Mathias is dumping out the ashes, he is holding it with just his right hand and then grabs it with with his left hand (so both hands are on the bag). In the next shot, he's back to holding it with just the right hand and then grabs the bag with his left hand again.

Two Sane Guys Doing Normal Things - S1-E8

Bart: You think, maybe, surprises are good sometimes? Like, there could be such a thing as a surprise that helps you?
Ken: Yes. I do. Yeah. What doesn't kill you, you know, usually makes you...
Bart: Makes you hurt real bad and makes you cry.

Party's Over - S2-E5

Question: Does the pharmacist that Longmire talks to violate any sort of confidentiality laws? Walt doesn't come in with a warrant, but the pharmacist is giving Walt information pertaining to other people still alive, not just the victim. I could see the law allowing him to tell Walt "no" that someone didn't pick up any prescriptions, but to mention she picked up antibiotics or that Gerry had back surgery seems unethical.

Bishop73

Answer: This appears to be movie fiction. In real life, a pharmacist could not legally give out confidential patient information without there being a search warrant. Not abiding by confidentiality laws could result in a pharmacist facing legal issues and losing his or her license.

Monk (2002)

Mr. Monk and the Election - S3-E15

Question: Mr. Monk, given all his quirks, is apprehensive to enter the voting booth and even comes back out due to his anxiety. My question is; do you have to be in the booth to vote? He had a paper ballot and there was no voting machine inside the booth. I saw a table and chairs in the background, so if Monk chose to, could he (or anyone) fill out the ballot at the table, in the open?

Bishop73

Answer: Yes, with a paper ballot, Monk (or anyone) can choose to fill it out at the table as long as they are not concerned about the lack of privacy.

Mr. Monk and the Election - S3-E15

Character mistake: Captain Stottlemeyer uses gloves to pick up the letter found sticking out of the pipe. He doesn't actually put the glove on, but still uses it to avoid getting any of his prints, skin, etc on the paper. But then he uses his other, non-gloved hand to open up the note and hold it, and Monk also touches the letter. If he cared about not contaminating evidence by using the glove, he wouldn't touch it bare handed and if he didn't care about touching the note bare handed, then he wouldn't have used the gloves.

Omar: That's the great thing about the compound bow, a great equalizer. A little bit of practice, even a girl can make that shot.

Unquiet Mind - S2-E1

Continuity mistake: During the day when Walt is following the Snowcat, he hears a gunshot and puts his backpack down to pull out his binoculars. He doesn't have anything covering his mouth, but in the next shot his scarf is covering his mouth. And in the previous shot we see both his hands, so he doesn't have one free to pull it up.

Unfinished Business - S1-E10

Continuity mistake: When Walt is talking to the Denver detective, he opens the door to go inside and then the detective says they found the man who killed Walt's wife. Walt stands there, holding the door open still. When the camera angle changes, he's no longer holding the door open and goes to open the door again.

Dogs, Horses and Indians - S1-E9

Continuity mistake: When Walt is chasing Dullknife, they're on a two-lane road divided by a single dashed yellow line. However in some of the close up shots, it's now two yellow lines (a solid yellow line with a dashed yellow line). This is before they get to the road block.

Horizons - S1-E1

Trivia: When Dirk and Todd are talking about if Dirk ever solved a case, he mentions there was a bit about a sofa and Thor. This is a reference to the first two Douglas Adams' book in the Dirk Gently series, "Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency" (which had an immovable sofa) and "The Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul" (which had Thor).

Horizons - S1-E1

Detective Estevez: You didn't...see anything weird this morning, did you Mr. Brotzman?
Todd Brotzman: Yes. No. M-Maybe. I don't know.
Detective Estevez: Are you aware you just gave every possible response to that question? Eyebrows. [Detective Zimmerman raises his eyebrows].
