Stargate SG-1 (1997)

A Matter of Time - S2-E16

Character mistake: When Hammond and Carter come out of the base, Hammond is told he's been gone 22 hours. Hammond says he's only been gone about 20 minutes. To which Carter says, due to time dilation, time is moving an average of 600% slower and that telling O'Neill to wait 5 minutes would be 6 hours or more. However, 600% is just another way of saying "6 times" and time is slower by about 66 times, so she should have said an average of 6,000%. 5 minutes being 6 hours would be 72 times slower.

Deadpool 2 (2018)

Deadpool: So you're an alien, I guess. How does that help us?
Shatterstar: I'm basically better than you at everything.
Deadpool: Just once, I'm gonna find a planet of people that are worse than me at everything. A bunch of functional idiots. I'm gonna go there, and I'm gonna be their Superman.
Weasel: Isn't that Canada?
Deadpool: You shut your goddamn trash mouth.

In the Same Boat - S3-E1

Continuity mistake: When Roger comes home (after seeing Garrett's video), he has nothing in his hands or on his shirt. In one shot of him (when Trish says "I'm sorry"), his sunglasses are suddenly hanging on his shirt collar. (00:28:10)

Bishop73

Continuity mistake: In the taxi, when Zeus is telling John his name and asks if he has a problem with that, John's hand is not against his head. In the next shot it is.

AKA Take a Bloody Number - S1-E12

Continuity mistake: When Jessica is following the suspected courier, the people in the background change in various shots. For example, when he's walking down the covered walkway (after we see the juggler), there's a guy jogging behind him. But in the next shot the guy is no where to be seen.

The Fury of Iron Fist - S2-E1

Continuity mistake: When Danny is about to dress his knife wound, he grabs the tape with both hands and there's nothing covering the wound. He tears the tape, still using both hands, but then in the next shot as he's putting the tape down, a gauze pad is now covering his wound.

Jurassic Park (1993)

Question: It seems like a minor plot hole, but I can't be certain in case I don't understand or missed something. After Ellie turns the main power back on and activates the individual park systems, the electrified fences turn back on. When she flees the shed, she runs through the gate of a fence that has a "danger: high voltage" warning sign, and she even touches part of the fence that's not the gate. Shouldn't the fence have become electrified?

Bishop73

Chosen answer: The "danger: high Voltage" sign is for the electrical equipment inside the shed, not the fence itself.

Jurassic Park (1993)

Question: Is there any mention in the films or books about how the extinct plants were grown (or recreated/cloned)? I've already suspended disbelief that their extraction of viable DNA is possible and I know seeds can lay dormant for thousands of years, so I can accept whatever made-up technique they claim. I'm not looking for speculation or "it's just a movie" type responses.

Bishop73

Chosen answer: It is never explained in any of the films or the novels. In the novel The Lost World it is very briefly mentioned that InGen maintains a facility where they house prehistoric plants but that is literally the only time it is brought up. It isn't mentioned in the films at all.

BaconIsMyBFF

Answer: As the DNA came from fossilized tree sap, Probably an offscreen procedure of removing plant DNA directly from that.

A Thing I'll Never Understand - S6-E4

Question: Who sent Vic the barn toy? Some people on the internet say she bought it online (like eBay or Craig's list), but I don't remember seeing her be online to buy stuff. Plus, it didn't seem like she was doing much to prepare to have the baby, so it would seem odd that buying a used barn toy would be one of the first things she buys.

Bishop73

Answer: Chance.
