Trivia: The character's name, Doug Kinney, is a tribute to writer Chris Miller's friend, Doug Kenney. Miller and Kenney wrote National Lampoon's Animal House.

Gotham (2014)
Factual error: The address on Lee's business card shows her zip code for Atlanta, GA as "11453." This is a non-existent US zip code, and the zip code for Atlanta is "303xx."

Black Knight (2001)
Continuity mistake: When they're closing the portcullis as Jamal is escaping, when the guard is struck, the last horizontal beam is shoulder level, with the spikes much lower. When the camera changes angle, the gate has risen so the spikes are nearly above his head and Jamal is no longer as crouched down to get under.

The Magnificent Eight - S1-E11
Trivia: In the town of Salvation there's a place called "Kubert's Barber Shop." Joseph Kubert was a comic book artist for DC Comics and creator of Hawkman/Carter Hall.

Ant-Man (2015)
Continuity mistake: When Scott escapes from jail with the help of the ants, as he's flying through the trolley car he lands on a newspaper. From the position of the man's thumb, the picture is just a small part of the left side (his thumb lays over about half the width of the picture). When it cuts to the wide shot, the picture now covers more than half the page (width-wise).

Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999)
Trivia: Mustafa's "battle cry" when he attacks Austin Powers with the knife is "daktari." Daktari is a Swahili word meaning "doctor." It also happens to be the name of a TV show from the late 60's.

Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999)
Factual error: When Austin sees the reflection of the assassin in Robin's eyes, it should be a reverse image since it's a reflection, but it's not. The assassin is seen raising his right hand both times when the reflection should make it look like it's his left.

Hap and Leonard (2016)
Factual error: Hap is sending a package to Houston, Texas but the zip code he writes is "89921." This isn't anywhere near Houston. At best it's El Paso, although 89921 isn't in use. (And if his 5s look like 8s, "59921" is in Montana).

A Million Ways to Die in the West (2014)
Trivia: Although it sounds made up to fit the plot of the movie, the song "If You've Only Got a Moustache" was a real song from the 1860's. It was written by Stephen Foster (lyrics by George Cooper) who also wrote "Camptown Races" and "Oh! Susanna," although some of the lyrics were changed in the film. Foster (who is also brought up in a later scene) incidentally died at the age of 37 from a fall and fever, which also seems to fit the plot of the movie of so many random ways to die.

A Million Ways to Die in the West (2014)
Continuity mistake: In the beginning when Stark is talking with Charlie, when the camera is facing Stark, the buildings' shadows go from the viewer's right to left. After he falls down from being shot at, the shadows are now going in the opposite direction (the camera angle changes to face Charlie, but the shadows still go right to left).

Lethal Weapon 2 (1989)
Continuity mistake: After leaving the Embassy, when Murtaugh pulls over after Leo says there's a deli, he parks in front of a white car and is near a bush and some grass on the ground. From inside the car, the white car is no longer present and when the door is ripped off, they are now parked in a different spot, no bush or grass is around.

Albert Stark: That is our Mayor. He is dead. He's been lying there, dead, for three days. No one has done a thing. Not moved him, not looked into his death, not even replaced him with a temporary appointee. For the last three days, the highest ranking official in our town has been a dead guy. Oh! Look at that! Look at that! Wolves are dragging the body away as if to illustrate my point! Bye! Bye, Mr. Mayor! Bye! Have fun becoming wolf shit. Bye!

Legends of Tomorrow (2016)
Left Behind - S1-E9
Trivia: Not quite a mistake given the fictitious nature of the show; but in 1960, as a college physics professor, Ray makes a comment indicating one of the guys in his class is Bill Gates' father. Bill Gates' proper name is William Henry Gates III, and the man in class would be William Henry Gates II (or William Gates Jr.), which should have been enough of a clue for Ray who this man was. However, Bill Gates' father graduated from law school in 1950 and would have been 35 in 1960, not some young college kid taking a physics class as shown.

Legends of Tomorrow (2016)
Left Behind - S1-E9
Factual error: Ray, Sara, and Kendra are Left Behind in 1958. However, 10 weeks later Sara and Kendra are playing the board game "The Game of Life." The modern version, as seen, didn't come out until 1960 (previously it was called The Checkered Game of Life and doesn't resemble the modern version).

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (2005)

Blue Chips (1994)
Ed: I gotta ask this question, or I wouldn't be doing my job. Would you care to comment on the rumor that you, uh, arranged for an automobile to be purchased for Neon Bodeaux?
Coach Bell: You know [sighs]. You know, Ed, you've just gotta get your mind out of the gutter. You know, you just gotta to start thinking straight. I mean, it's right there in front of you. For christsake, it wasn't an automobile. I mean, it was a fully loaded Lexus.
