Trivia: The show is set in the fictional county of Absaroka. In 1939 many Plains Indians and ranchers from parts of Montana, North Dakota, and Wyoming tried to succeed and create a new state called Absaroka.

Trivia: On the marquee they are showing "The Highwayman" (which could be one of several films). In 2016, the same year this episode aired, Craig Johnson published "The Highwayman: A Longmire Story." Incidentally, Netflix is distributing an upcoming film called "The Highwaymen." And, Callum Keith Rennie, who played Walker Browning in "Longmire", appeared in the 2000 "The Highwayman" film.
