Iron Forged in Fire: Part One - S1-E1
Howard Stark: The hard light laser, and targeting system you invented, acts like a scalpel. Combined with real time seismographic readings, the Earth Mover will not only revolutionize archeology, but just imagine the benefits for disaster relief. Collapsed buildings, cave ins. Your invention, will save lives, Tony.
Tony Stark: It also made your last invention look like a fifth grade science project.
Howard Stark: Yeah, and that’s why I’m grounding you for a month!
Tony Stark: What!?!
Howard Stark: You’re so easy, it’s not even fun.

Iron Forged in Fire: Part One - S1-E1
Obadiah Stane: Why did you reject my proposal for repurposing the Earth Movers!? The military will pay billions for them once they’ve been modified.
Howard Stark: Modified? You want to take an invention intended to make peoples’ lives better into a weapon. That’s not gonna happen.
Obadiah Stane: This is insane, Howard! You’re costing this company and our shareholders a-
Howard Stark: A fortune. I know. But Stark International is my company.
Obadiah Stane: Howard please, be reasonable.
Howard Stark: It’s my company, and my word is final.

Iron Forged in Fire: Part One - S1-E1
Revealing mistake: After Howard’s death, Tony and Rhodey are trying to get back into Stark International. A guard is giving them a hard time and he is wearing some sort of shades and head piece. When it cuts to a close up of his face as he talks to the people inside, on the left side of his glasses near where it meets his hair, there is a texture glitch in the animation. The glass in one spot is flickering around like TV static. (00:07:10)

Continuity mistake: After the plane explosion, a scene six months later is shown with Tony lying in bed with his chest piece now in that keeps him alive. It then cuts to a closer view of the device as Tony’s alarm sounds, and suddenly the pieces do not overlap the circle at all, and some of them slightly change shape and position. (00:06:35)

The shadows are very close to the people’s feet, showing the light source is almost totally overhead. A couple shots later, you see behind Tony as he is walking, the same people in almost the same spot, with their shadows extended out further, as if the light source has moved several feet in front of them, but while they are still inside the building.
