Trivia: Many involved with the film have spoken about its poor reception. Eddie Murphy has joked that he knows "two or three" people that like it. Director Ron Underwood has said he thinks the film "was not very good." And co-star Joe Pantoliano has said "because of the material and the style in which some players came to work, we were off the mark, you know?" Pantoliano has also expressed regret at the way the film impacted director Underwood's career, saying Underwood was "victimized" by it.

Jackass Forever (2022)
Trivia: Series co-star Bam Margera was fired during production for reportedly failing to take cooperate with various conditions set for his appearance, such as random drug tests. After being fired, he started a lawsuit against the other creators and reportedly sent death-threats to longtime "Jackass" director Jeff Tremaine, resulting in Tremaine taking out a restraining order against him. Despite his firing, Margera did film a few scenes and does briefly appear in the finished film.

Halloween Kills (2021)
Trivia: Spoilers: The original ending featured Laurie calling her daughter and hearing Michael breathing... thus realizing her daughter was dead. Laurie then walks out of the hospital holding a knife, presumably on her way to face Michael. However, this ending was cut short at the last minute, when director David Gordon Green and the writers decided that the next film would feature a time-jump ahead. They didn't want to give the impression that the next film took place immediately after.

The Adventures of Pluto Nash (2002)
Trivia: Reportedly, Eddie Murphy, director Ron Underwood and the producers all had different ideas for what the style, tone and humor of the film should be. Murphy, being the biggest name, would often overrule director Underwood and the producers, and he allegedly also supervised reshoots without Underwood involved.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988)
Trivia: At various points early in the writing process, both Jessica Rabbit and Baby Herman were considered to be twist-villains during the third act. Ultimately, the character Judge Doom was created and became the bad-guy as the script was further developed.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988)
Trivia: They hadn't come up with the final design for Jessica during filming, so Bob Hoskins was told to just imagine his "ideal sexual fantasy" when picturing the character. Hoskins later remarked that the final design was actually sexier and more risque then what he pictured in his head.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988)
Trivia: Tim Curry was almost cast as Judge Doom, and indeed, the producers found his performance genuinely terrifying. However, it was decided that Christopher Lloyd simply fit their vision of the character better.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988)
Trivia: The first test-screening was a disaster. Most of the cartoon effects were incomplete (with many simply missing), and the crowd was made up entirely of teenagers who weren't told anything about the movie. When the film opened with a cartoon, they began leaving in droves, as they assumed it was a kids' movie. Those who initially stayed started to then walk out due to the film being hard to follow without the effects. However, later tests screenings went much better as more effects were finished.

The Real Ghostbusters (1986)
Trivia: It's noticeable that the series drops in quality in season 3. This is because ABC hired the consulting firm "Q5" to rework their lineup in an attempt to boost ratings. Unfortunately, Q5 seemed to misunderstand the series, and forced the creative team to unnecessarily change it. Their changes included making Janine a blander character and relegating Winston to just being "the driver." The crew hated the changes, which they felt were often racist and sexist. Some even left out of protest.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988)
Trivia: Since Roger's voice actor Charles Fleischer would wear a Roger costume to "get into character," producers and executives from other productions who happened to see him would often mistakenly think he was the actual character that would appear in the final film. Evidently, it was a running joke at the studio for people to talk about "how bad the rabbit movie looks," since they didn't realise the finished film would include an actual cartoon character.

Trivia: In the prison sequence, at one point a TV is visible in the background playing the famous and infamous cult-film "The Toxic Avenger." "The Toxic Avenger" was produced by the independent studio Troma Entertainment. Director James Gunn actually got his start working for Troma, writing the cult favorite "Tromeo and Juliet," and doing various other behind-the-scenes jobs on several other Troma productions. As a thank-you, Gunn often includes Troma easter-eggs in his films.

Scream (1996)
Trivia: Dewey was actually meant to be dead when he falls down after being stabbed in the back. The short coda of him being taken away in an ambulance was added in at the last minute. Director Wes Craven fell in love with the character and enjoyed working with David Arquette, and didn't want Dewey to die. So he decided to let the character live, so he could return for the sequels.

Trivia: Liev Schreiber took the role of Cotton to help pay off some school debt. He was offered a small pay-day for a day's work where he basically just had to walk a short distance then get into a car. He figured it'd be a simple paycheck, and didn't realise his character would end up becoming a principal player in the sequel.
