Trivia: When Max is chasing the cat, the scene was accomplished by training the cat and dog together so they'd be comfortable. The cat was being trained to run towards a toy, while the dog was trained to run towards a trainer making hand signals a short distance away from the cat-toy. If you pay very close attention, there's actually one point in the scene where you can tell that they're running in ever-so-slightly different directions.

Trivia: Creator Dan Harmon was fired during season four and rehired for season five. Harmon attracted some controversy when he finally watched season four and made several vulgar jokes about it, as he felt it was like an "unflattering impression." He later apologized and stated that he had a lot of respect for the writers and season four showrunners for trying their hardest to replicate his work and keep the show alive, and said he thought many of the jokes and the Rachel character were great.

Trivia: Chad Stahelski was a close friend of Brandon Lee and was working as his stunt-double on the film. After Lee tragically died, Stahelski served as his body double for unfinished scenes. Stahelski later became famous as a film director, helming all four "John Wick" films. Due to Lee's death, he is reportedly incredibly strict on his sets when it comes to firearms safety.

Trivia: In an attempt to manipulate the MPAA into giving the movie an R-rating, Wes Craven sent them a copy of the film that was far more violent than he actually wanted the movie to be. His idea was that when they demanded cuts so it wouldn't be NC-17, he could submit his actual director's cut with less violence, and they'd likely accept it. To his horror and amusement, they gave the far more violent version an R-rating. Regardless, he still released his less violent cut of the film in theaters.

Trivia: Many of the inanimate Chucky's seen in the final few episodes, and one of the Chucky's that gets killed, are actually just slightly redressed commercially-available Chucky dolls from Trick or Treat studios. They were released as collectibles for fans, but are so high-quality that they were able to be used in the show.

Trivia: Lachlan Watson, the nonbinary actor who plays Glen and Glenda, wanted to approach the characters in a unique way. Rather than making them traditionally male or female, they made both characters nonbinary and not limited by gender norms. Watson eventually figured out how to describe them by likening them to rock music, with Glenda being "glam" and Glen being "grunge." The crew got excited about this, because they suddenly weren't limited by traditional gender expectations and could experiment.

Trivia: The human versions of Glen and Glenda are both played by Lachlan Watson, a non-binary actor. For scenes where both Glen and Glenda were present, Watson would perform the scene as Glenda with the other actors, then go back and reshoot the entire scene as Glen by themself, so that Glen could be digitally added to the original footage.

Trivia: When we see Chucky in human form as an adult, he's being portrayed by Fiona Dourif, daughter of Chucky actor Brad Dourif. Brad then redubbed her lines. Everyone always remarks how much Fiona resembles Brad when he was younger, which gave them the idea to have her play him in human form. She just had to have her nose and chin slightly enlarged with prosthetics to make her look more masculine. She was both amused... and also deeply disturbed by seeing her father's face in her reflection.

Trivia: The chapel where some of the scenes were filmed was allowed access by the production because, oddly enough, the local pastor who preached there was a huge fan of the "Chucky" franchise and especially the first season.

Trivia: When Joe tries to force Tiffany to give him a blowjob, Jennifer Tilly came up with the idea of him pushing her head down and her crawling between his legs. She wanted to "escape" from him in a comedic way. Joe Pantoliano was nervous about it, because he thought it would be unrealistic and mean for a man would push a woman's head down forcefully to perform oral sex. Jennifer Tilly had to tactfully explain that it actually happens quite often in real life.

Trivia: WWE wrestler Liv Morgan was brought on as a guest-star specifically because she's said many times that "Child's Play" is her favorite horror movie and that she's a huge Chucky fan. She's even joked that her "dream role" would be to get killed by him. Series creator Don Mancini cast her (and had Chucky kill her as per her wish) as a thank you for being a fan.

Trivia: Part of the idea for having Nica be wheelchair bound is that series creator Don Mancini was tired of hearing people dismissively say "You could just kick him!" in regards to Chucky. To finally shut that complaint down, he purposely made a protagonist that couldn't "just kick him" and would instead have to use her cunning to defend herself.

Trivia: Foley having a foot-fetish and forcing Nica to wear high-heel shoes for his own satisfaction was a last-minute addition to the script. As scripted, Nica would have spent the last act barefoot. However, the filming location was so cold, actress Fiona Dourif would have gotten frostbite if she was walking barefoot in the snow. The fetish/shoe angle was added purely to protect her feet. (Foley kissing her feet was an idea a crew member had, which director Don Mancini found too twisted to resist.)
