Trivia: When Scott goes sub-atomic during the climax, pay close attention. For a very brief instant, there are a few flash-frames of a human figure, and a human silhouette can briefly be seen reflected on Scott's mask. It's very easy to miss the first time you watch the movie. These are indeed meant to be hints that Hank's wife Janet is still alive in the quantum realm.

Trivia: Ghost is typically portrayed as an unnamed male in the comic books. Director Peyton Reed said the decision to make Ghost a woman was made simply because they thought it was "more interesting." They felt that given the fact that Ghost in the comics has never been given a definitive true identity, they could completely reinterpret the character to fit the film.

If you pay attention, the screen reads "Don't trust Gary." This is (pretty blatant) foreshadowing towards the twist where Gary is revealed to have staged the kidnapping of Brooks to create his own "game night."

Trivia: Natalie Portman originally exited the MCU due to her being unhappy with the production of "Thor: The Dark World" for various reasons, including the firing of original director Patty Jenkins. After she agreed to do a small voice-over cameo in "Avengers: Endgame" as a favor to the production, she agreed to take a meeting with director Taika Waititi. According to producer Kevin Feige, Waititi quickly won her over and convinced her to return to the MCU by the end of the meeting.

Trivia: The studio originally wanted Amanda Seyfried for the role of Gamora. But despite loving the screenplay, Seyfried feared that given the obscure nature of the characters and the inherent weirdness of the script, the movie would bomb at the box office. She didn't want to be in the only MCU film to fail commercially. The film ended up going on to be a massive success, and Seyfried has expressed some regret over the decision.

Trivia: The man who opens the safe at the beginning of the film was played by Weston Nathanson... however, his voice was provided by director Joss Whedon. As is often the case, Nathanson's lines had to be re-recorded in post-production, but Nathanson wasn't available. Joss stepped in and dubbed the lines himself.

Trivia: Reportedly, both the PG-13 theatrical and unrated cut of the film were screened for test-audiences, but it was ultimately decided that the PG-13 version would be released in theaters. The unrated cut was eventually released on Blu-ray, featuring a bit more violence and more visible bloodshed.
