Trivia: Keanu Reeves remained friends with Laurence Fishburne after the original "Matrix" trilogy concluded. One day they meet for dinner and Fishburne talked about how much he loved the first "John Wick." Reeves had a script for the sequel sent to him shortly after. In less than 24 hours, Fishburne responded by saying "I'm in!"

Trivia: Grossed more in its domestic opening weekend ($56 million) than the first film made in its entire domestic release ($43 million).

Trivia: In the original ending, Mrs. Tingle didn't go to jail, and eventually made a truce with the students who were holding her captive, with everyone going free. This was changed in reshoots, as audiences felt she was so unlikeable, she needed to be "punished."

Trivia: The movie was originally shot as an R-rated movie, but was cut down to PG-13 before release. It's most notable in the scene where Jo-Lynn re-enacts scenes from "The Exorcist." The actress had to re-dub herself screaming "F*** me!" with "Take me!" over and over again.

Trivia: Helen Mirren has given different reasons for taking the part of Mrs. Tingle. She was reportedly intrigued by the devilish role because it was unlike anything else she had ever played, and she enjoyed how the film showed the turbulence of adolescence. She also quipped that she got paid a "shitload of money" and that it was an easy job because she spend most of the film tied to a bed in a comfy nightgown making catty comments.

Trivia: The film was originally titled "Killing Mrs. Tingle" and was set to premiere earlier. After the Columbine Shooting, the film was retitled "Teaching Mrs. Tingle" due to fears that it would feel too exploitive following the tragedy. Its release date was also shifted back slightly.

Shocker (1989)

Trivia: Reportedly, late in post-production, the lead effects artist had a mental breakdown because he realised he had bitten off more than he could chew and couldn't deliver the effects on time. Director Wes Craven had to rush to locate all the negatives (which were scattered all over LA) and hire more effects artists to try and get the effects done as quickly as possible. Craven has said this is why some of the effects shots are "pretty sketchy" - there was no time to properly finish them.

Shocker (1989)

Trivia: Wes Craven said before he passed away that out of all his films, "Shocker" is the one movie he would have liked to have remade himself because the effects weren't quite good enough due to technical limitations and issues with the effects artists.

Shocker (1989)

Trivia: Wes Craven originally intended for "Shocker" to become a franchise, with Horace Pinker becoming the next big slasher-star. However, the studio wasn't happy with the film's mediocre box office returns, and a sequel was never made.

Scream VI (2023)

Trivia: Like other films in the series, "Scream VI" is loaded with "easter eggs" for horror fans. One extremely subtle one you may not notice... when the psychologist is attacked at his office by Ghostface, the door-knocking sound effect is actually taken directly from the 2022 slasher-movie "X," which featured "Scream VI" co-star Jenna Ortega.

Scream VI (2023)

Trivia: When Kirby and Mindy sit down and talk about horror movies, and Mindy alludes to the idea that some people think Stu Macher is really still alive. This is a reference to an extremely popular fan theory that Stu Macher, one of the original two "Ghostface" killers, is still alive and will return in a future film.

Rick and Morty (2013)

Trivia: After co-creator Justin Roiland was fired, it was revealed that his relationship with fellow co-creator Dan Harmon had broken down during season 2 when Harmon pushed for the show to be more ambitious. By season 3, Roiland made little creative input, was rude and inappropriate to the staff, and would often abandon work. By season 4, he would just record his lines from home and never come into work, exploiting the fact he was voicing the leads because he thought it meant he could never be fired.

Spider-Man (2003)

Trivia: The cel-shaded CG animation lead to a lot of changes during production, especially since the show was made quickly and cel-shading was still relatively new and cutting edge at the time. Mary Jane was given a shorter hairstyle because her original longer hair had a bad tendency to glitch and "clip" through her body. Peter's clothes were made tighter because his original baggier clothes were hard to render. And Kraven's vest never quite looked right, so it was replaced with a leather jacket.

Coyote Ugly (2000)

Trivia: Co-star Melanie Lynskey stated that the behind the scenes of the film was hostile at times. When she was cast the costume designer made the snide comment "Nobody told me there would be girls like you," and the crew would try to change the way she looked with excessive makeup and shapewear clothes. She was also constantly told that she was "not beautiful" by the costume department. This affected her so much that to this day, Lynskey makes herself available to younger castmates for help or advice.

Child's Play 3 (1991)

Trivia: Originally, the war-games scene was meant to be a total bloodbath, with numerous students being shot to ribbons. But it was eventually cut down to just Shelton being killed. Series creator Don Mancini has said he believes it was changed for two reasons - first due to budgetary concerns since it'd require so many squibs and so much coordination, and second for "political correctness" reasons, since seeing dozens of kids being shot would be a little too distasteful, even for a Chucky movie.

Scream 3 (2000)

Trivia: Early on in production, director Wes Craven knew he wanted the character Randy Meeks to appear to explain the rules of a trilogy. He briefly contemplated a reveal that Randy survived his apparent death in "Scream 2" and had gone into hiding, but decided that this would undermine the high stakes of the series. He instead settled on the idea of Randy having made a video-tape about the rules shortly before his death.

Trivia: When Johnny takes Missy to the movie theater, in one of the comic panels we see the name of the movie they're seeing is "Johnny Zombie." This was actually the original title of this film before it was changed to "My Boyfriend's Back."

Spider-Man (2003)

Trivia: Reportedly, Aunt May was not featured in the show as a character (only being seen in photographs) because MTV feared her inclusion would make teenagers and 20-somethings less likely to watch for... some reason.

My Soul to Take (2010)

Trivia: The first film Wes Craven both wrote and directed since the release of "New Nightmare" 16 years earlier. It was also the final film Craven both wrote and directed before he tragically passed away. (While he did direct "Scream 4" the following year, he was not a credited writer on it).
