Trivia: The game deals with some important modern issues, including cyber-bullying and teen suicide. Square-Enix, publisher of the game, ended up using the game to raise awareness of these topics, donating to anti-bullying advocacy groups and making promotional videos featuring the characters from the game talking about these topics.

Happy Death Day (2017)
Trivia: The killer's mask was designed by Tony Gardner. If that name sounds familiar, you're probably a big horror fan. Aside from the killer's mask in "Happy Death Day," Gardner also helped design the final look of "Ghostface" seen in the"Scream" franchise (albeit loosely based on an earlier design), worked on a number of cult-films including "Darkman, "Hocus Pocus" and the "Evil Dead" sequels, and has worked as the main effects supervisor on a number of the "Chucky/Child's Play" films.

Happy Death Day (2017)
Trivia: There actually is an in-universe explanation for why Tree got stuck in a time-loop. However, director Christopher Landon opted to omit it from the finished film. Partially because it could be used in a potential sequel, and partially because it wasn't necessary for the narrative. Landon has hinted that the upcoming sequel, "Happy Death Day 2U," will finally reveal the explanation.

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (2005)
Trivia: During the early 1980's, Ivan Reitman was working with author Douglas Adams to make "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" into a film. However, the project fell apart when Reitman decided to work on another film instead - the film that would eventually become "Ghostbusters." The "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" movie didn't finally come out until over twenty years later.

Life is Strange
Trivia: One of the optional photos that can be taken in Episode 2 is a bit of graffiti in the bathroom that reads "Firewalk with Me." That is the name of a spin-off movie of the series "Twin Peaks." "Twin Peaks" was notably one of the influences behind "Life is Strange." There are also several other minor "Twin Peaks" easter-eggs hidden throughout the game.

Life is Strange
Trivia: The game was released by Square-Enix. The developers threw in some references to other Square releases as a reference to this fact. Most notably being that Max will mention the film "Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within" and the character Lara Croft from the game "Tomb Raider" if the player optionally examines select items. (With Square having produced the "Final Fantasy" series, in addition to releasing the rebooted "Tomb Raider" series).

Halloween (2018)
Trivia: At one point, an alternate opening was planned that would have picked up at the ending of the original when Dr. Loomis shoots Michael... except it would continue on, and show Michael getting the upper hand and killing Dr. Loomis. Laurie would then grab Loomis' gun and shoot Michael one final time, knocking him out, before the police arrive and apprehend him. Executive Producer John Carpenter protested, and the new opening seen in the film was written to replace it.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988)
Trivia: A nice subtle detail you might not notice right away - in almost every single scene, Doom's cloak is lightly billowing, as though it has a perpetual breeze running through it. Not only is this a cute nod to the classic cliche of the "billowing cloak" many villains have in comics and cartoons, but it's also a very subtle "hint" that something's not quite right about him.

The Haunting of Hill House (2018)
Trivia: Hugh is played by Henry Thomas in flashbacks sequences. Thomas famously played the lead character Elliot in Steven Spielberg's "E.T." as a child actor in the 80's. As a reference to this fact, in the first episode, Young Luke is seen with an "E.T." lunchbox in one scene.

The Haunting of Hill House (2018)
Trivia: In the original novel, the characters Eleanor, Theo and Luke were not siblings. In addition, the characters Steven and Shirley didn't exist in the original novel. This series - a re-imagining of the novel - made the main characters into siblings and added Steven and Shirley to broaden the cast a bit. Shirley is named after Shirley Jackson, who wrote the novel.

The Frighteners (1996)
Trivia: During production, Peter Jackson personally purchased over 30 new computers for WETA in order to help get the special effects done on time. After the film was complete, he tried to think of another project that he could work on in order to utilize all of the computers he purchased for the film, not wanting them to go to waste. He thus decided to work on a fantasy film next - and this project would later end up becoming his famed "Lord of the Rings" film trilogy.

The Frighteners (1996)
Trivia: To date, this is the last major live-action film Michael J. Fox has starred in. Due to his struggles with Parkinson's disease and his desire to spend more time with his family, he decided to dramatically cut down on the jobs he took after completing "The Frighteners." Since its release, Fox has mainly focused on voice-over work and supporting roles in film and television projects, as they require less of a time commitment.

The Frighteners (1996)
Trivia: Early on in production, "The Frighteners" was in consideration to be the second "Tales from the Crypt" movie, after "Demon Night," and before "Bordello of Blood." Producer Robert Zemeckis liked the story so much, however, that he decided to produce it as a stand-alone work.

The only films she didn't appear in were "Halloween 4," "Halloween 5," and "Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers." (Not counting the 2007 remake and its 2009 sequel).

Halloween (2018)
Trivia: Prior to production on this film beginning, there were a number of other "Halloween" films that were considered. A third film in the remake series under the working title "Halloween 3D" was considered with director Patrick Lussier at one point. After the production fell apart, writers Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan began work on a film set in the original series continuity entitled "Halloween Returns," which would follow Michael escaping from prison during an attempted execution and tracking down two specific targets with ties to his past. However, when Blumhouse got the rights to the series, this project was dropped in favor of a more direct sequel to the original film.
