Trivia: The film features the Love Spit Love cover of the song "How Soon is Now." The very next year, the series "Charmed" premiered, which used the exact same cover of the song as its theme song. The series "Charmed" is also about a group of young witches. (And in fact, several cast and crew members of "The Craft" have alleged that the series "Charmed" was a complete rip-off their movie, and the fact it used the same song is further proof of that).

Trivia: Luke Goss plays the villain Nomak. Six year later, he would play the villain Prince Nuada in "Blade II" director Guillermo del Toro's "Hellboy II: The Golden Army." Both characters have some notable similarities, including pale skin, the fact they both kill their fathers, and the fact that their sisters team up with the heroes.

Trivia: In the original script by David S. Goyer, the Reapers were much larger, more intricate in design and had many more monstrous features. Director Guillermo del Toro eventually reworked them into being much simpler creatures that were similar to regular vampires save for their pale skin and split jaws. He felt this made them scarier since they could blend in better.

Trivia: Donal Logue, who plays Quinn, fell and dislocated his jaw during the filming of the hospital scene, where his severely-burned character attacks Karen. He had to be rushed to a real hospital while still in full burn makeup, which caused a panic among the staff, as they thought he had really been severely burned over his entire body.

Trivia: At one point, Blade sarcastically asks the Nightstalkers if they think hunting vampires is like "a sitcom." Both Ryan Reynolds and Patton Oswalt, who play two of the Nightstalkers, starred in sitcoms either before or while this film was made. ("Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place" and "The King of Queens" respectively).

Trivia: As initially conceived, the series was meant to be a family drama about the 24 hours that passed before a wedding, with each episode being in real-time. However, the creators worried that this idea wouldn't be exciting enough to hold an audience's attention. So they began to brainstorm other ways to use the real-time format idea they had come up with. They ultimately decided to change the series from a drama to an action-thriller, and thus "24" was born.
