Other mistake: As Lois goes to climb under the lift, the one support she climbs over is bowed down a bit, whereas the others are straight, as if there were more than one take done.

Other mistake: The red alert light at the entrance to the chapel blinks a few times and stops, even though the rest are still flashing. Also, the last thing Kirk says is "All decks, condition red", which is unnecessary, since the red alert has already begun sounding.

Question: Assuming that Moonbase Alpha is on the side facing the Earth (which is seen on the horizon over the base in the pilot episode "Breakaway"), making travel to it and back easier, and the nuclear waste on the far side, away from Earth, wouldn't the explosion propel the moon towards the Earth, thereby dooming Alpha to certain destruction?

Space: 1999 (1975)
Character mistake: The Eagle Koenig flies is called Eagle One. However, the number on the door behind him is plainly a four, meaning Eagle Four.
Suggested correction: This happens a lot. The number on the door is not the number of the Eagle, it's the number of the command module. The super structure and drive systems are Eagle One. Even then, there has been several Eagle Ones destroyed or lost. Eagle One is assigned its designation by the head of Recon, Alan Carter.

Other mistake: On the ball field, the one kid running away gets hit in the lower back by the soda can. Problem is the soda can looked as if it were tossed in a gentle arc rather than directly at him. Also, it barely touched him, and he took a few more steps, then grabbed the spot it hit him, then fell, rather than falling immediately.
