Continuity mistake: In the mess tent, Hawkeye is attempting to get the reporter to focus on BJ instead of him by telling the guy about the defibrillator made by BJ to save a life in the O.R. As Hawkeye is making his point, the reporter is putting a sheet of paper into a folder on his typewriter case. After the camera cuts to a close up of the reporter saying his next line, he's putting the paper into the folder again.

Revealing mistake: During the fight, Popeye ducks Oxheart's swings. If you watch carefully, it appears to be the same swing repeated multiple times from different angles.

Men in Black (1997)
J: All right, I'm in. 'Cause, look, there's some next-level shit going on around here, and I'm with that. But, before y'all get to beaming me up, there's a couple things I want you to understand. First off, you chose me. So you recognize the skills. And I don't want nobody calling me "Son", or "Kid", or "Sport", or nothing like that, cool?
K: Cool, whatever you say, Slick, but I need to tell you something about all your skills. As of right now, they mean precisely dick.

Men in Black (1997)
Kay: All right, kid. Here's the deal. At any given time, there are around fifteen hundred aliens on the planet. Most of them right here, in Manhattan. And, most of them are decent enough. They're just trying to make a living.
Jay: Cab drivers.
Kay: No, not as many as you think. Humans, for the most part, don't have a clue. They don't want one or need one neither. They're happy. They think they got a good bead on things.
Jay: Why the big secret? People are smart. They can handle it.
Kay: A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky dangerous animals and you know it. Fifteen hundred years ago, everybody KNEW the Earth was the center of the universe. Five hundred years ago, everybody KNEW the Earth was flat, and 15 minutes ago, you knew that people were alone on this planet. Imagine what you'll know tomorrow.
Jay: What's the catch?
Kay: Catch? Catch is you will sever every human contact. Nobody will ever know you exist anywhere, ever.

Men in Black (1997)
Revealing mistake: When James Edwards (later, J) catches the alien in the beginning and has him next to a wall, the alien pulls out a "reverberating carbonizer with mutate capacity" to shoot J. A quick tussle, and the alien drops the gun. When the camera goes to a close up on the gun, watch carefully. You see it quickly fade out of view after it comes to rest, and replaced with a few burning sparkle effects to simulate disintegration.

Popeye (1980)
Continuity mistake: When looking at the storm clouds in the beginning, the sun can be seen peeking over the clouds at the far right side of the shot. Then, after a flash of lightning, the sun is not only completely hidden by the clouds, the clouds at that spot are now much higher than they were. Also, the sun's position suggested late afternoon, yet the movie opens in the early morning hours, when Sweethaven is beginning its day.

Hancock (2008)

Hancock (2008)
Factual error: When Hancock is upset that his bottle is smashed, he puts his feet through the bottom of the vehicle, stopping it. In the long shot, the SUV stops slow enough that the occupants would have been pushed forward, not slammed into the windshield.

Hancock (2008)
Continuity mistake: When Hancock is coming up on the SUV in the beginning, he has a bottle of whiskey in his left hand. When he lands and goes to rip off the roof of the SUV, you see his left hand empty (except for a handful of roof). After opening the vehicle, you see him fly backwards, and you see that he has the bottle in hand again.
Suggested correction: If you watch it again, you see after he rips the roof off and goes flying backward, the bottle actually flies back with him, and he actually grabs it. So he tucked it away or set it somewhere while off-screen to rip the roof off.

Winchester: But, know this. You can cut me off from the civilized world. You can incarcerate me with two moronic cellmates. You can torture me with your thrice-daily swill, but can not break the spirit of a Winchester. My voice shall be heard from this wilderness, and I shall be delivered from this fetid and festering sewer.

Radar: Doing, sir?

Barker: Doesn't Col. Blake mind you drinking his whiskey and smoking his cigars?
Radar: Oh, very much so, sir.
Barker: Then why are you doing it?
Radar: Well, I don't mind, and I figured as long as one of us was being reasonable.
