Stalag 17 (1953)
Revealing mistake: When Manfriedi and Johnson are in the tunnel at the beginning, the second one has a lighter going to light the way. Trouble is, there is no way that the little flame could light the area as it did. Also, the lighter couldn't have provided light to cast its own shadow inside an area that perfectly round, thereby revealing that it was lit with a light close to the camera.

Maximum Overdrive (1986)
Other mistake: It was interesting that the beer truck didn't continue to run. The rocket blew up the side of the trailer, and the tractor was not affected, so it could have continued to run, like Zeke's garbage hauler after it dumped on the bible salesman's car.

Goldfinger (1964)
Revealing mistake: When Oddjob throws his hat at the statue and the camera cuts a close up of it, as the hat goes by the head, you can see the seam (in a freeze frame) where the head is propped up by the filler used to disguise the break. Also, the brim of the hat where the blade is, passes about two inches above the break. Therefore, were it possible, the brim doesn't cut the statue.

Dredd (2012)
Continuity mistake: When the punk has the lady hostage in the mall, Dredd takes him out. As the lady calms down, her uniform hat is above her brow line. After a quick cut to a wide shot of her and Dredd, the next close up has her hat down to the bridge of her nose.

Continuity mistake: In the beginning, there's a citizen ringing the bell. If you look carefully, the church appears to lit by strong daylight, but it's supposed to be stormy. After the bell ringer is done, the light strengthens as if the ringing awakens the town. The lighting on the church doesn't change at all.

Maximum Overdrive (1986)
Factual error: When the fuel tanker comes over to have Billy drop fuel, he pulls the hose down and plugs it into the tank receptacle. The troubles here are that 1) the hose wouldn't be connected in transit, it would be stowed on the side unconnected. 2) elastic straps are usually employed to keep the hoses secured until the tanker gets to its destination to drop the load.

Maximum Overdrive (1986)
