Continuity mistake: In any scenes in the CO's office, look at the windows - they're sometimes opaque, sometimes clear. Also the windows in the OR. Usually semi-opaque, once, they were totally opaque, and made of a thick plastic. This was because it was very cold outside, and Hawkeye used a scalpel to cut them open to let in cooler air.

M*A*S*H (1972)
Continuity mistake: When Carly is talking about Hawkeye being a "mortician's delight", she is gesturing with her right hand, and it's about waist height at the end of the motion. When the camera goes to a wide shot, her hand is up by her chin, about eight inches from her face.

Visible crew/equipment: As BJ comes around to take the wounded soldier to Post-Op, he walks in front of the camera. As he does so, the shadow of the camera can be seen on his back.

Tron (1982)
Revealing mistake: When the guard on top of the cells is ushering Flynn out, you can plainly see his shadow cast on the solid floor. The action below is obviously superimposed.

Tron (1982)
Continuity mistake: When Alan is typing to get access to TRON, his hands are reflected in the screen. When he's done typing, his hands and then his arms move back to a relaxed position. When the camera cuts to his face you can see his shoulders move as his arms are pulled back from the computer to a relaxed position again.

Tron (1982)
Revealing mistake: When Alan gets up to go to see Dillinger, look at the cubicles. The first row that Alan came out of is real. In the immediate next row, the cubicle that is adjacent to Alan's has no visible exit, and the two that would be heading toward the white wall seem to be only leading to each other. The rest of the cubicles in the area are all a matte painting used to extend the set.

Ernest Goes to Camp (1987)
Other mistake: In the scene at the lake, Stennis gets down and throws Moose, who can't swim, into the water. Then he gets back up on the guard tower. Then the "Last Chance Boys" push Stennis and the tower into the water. There is a close up shot of the tower's foot. It is about a quarter of an inch from falling off the dock. If it had been in that precarious of a position, then the man's movements and getting down and back up into the seat would have made the tower fall in before it was pushed.

M*A*S*H (1972)
Revealing mistake: When Hawkeye and Margaret turn toward the stove, and he says "Are you hungry?", watch the can. Though it is meant to look like it blew the top off, it is plain that the top was just set into the top, and a blast of air was used to blow it open. This is because of the sound, and a stream of vapor that often accompanies a blast from an air gun. A sealed can set on a heat source would have burst not only from the top, but also from the side at a seam, or the bottom. Also, they were about five feet away from the can, and the beans went up, not out at a ninety degree angle. So they wouldn't get beaned. Beans on the face were for comic effect.

M*A*S*H (1972)
Revealing mistake: A number of times, during the night periods (for instance, during an OR scene) the windows are dark when the lights are on in the room. Then when the lights go out, the windows brighten up. They, and the interior lights seem to alternate lightening and darkening.

Continuity mistake: When BJ, Hawkeye and Radar are being shot at, they hurry to get in the jeep. Radar gets out to get the jack, and salutes it. When the camera cuts to a shot of Radar getting back in, the jack is magically gone. It doesn't appear again.

M*A*S*H (1972)
Continuity mistake: On the way to catch Trapper, Hawkeye and Radar are stopped by an MP checkpoint. After bluffing the MP with a story about neuropraxia, the MP pumps his fist in the air saying "Move out!" The camera cuts to a wide shot and the MP is starting to pump his fist in the air again, and says "Move out!" again.

Hogan's Heroes (1965)
The Witness - S4-E23
Continuity mistake: In the beginning, the guys are listening in on Klink's office. The cup in front of Newkirk has four pencils in it. The colors from left to right are yellow, red, blue, and orange. After the camera cuts to Hogan and Kinch, the wide shot shows five pencils arranged yellow, black, blue, red, and orange.

Hogan's Heroes (1965)
Revealing mistake: When Schultz is on the way out after giving the guys the news about the inspections and roll calls, you can plainly see that the background behind him is a matte painting. This is easy to spot because the building in the distance is lighter in color, and there are ripples in the fabric used.

Continuity mistake: When Francesca is half-nude, she turns to walk around the far side of the glass enclosure. The camera cuts in closer, and she begins her turn again.

Ghost Ship (2002)
Factual error: When Murphy goes into the "Cabina de Capitano" (Captain's Cabin), he sees the glass with a little alcohol in it, and the bottle standing next to it, without a cork or stopper. If left standing open like that, after 40 years, the liquid would have evaporated. However, it can be said that the Captain's ghost made it appear to entice Murphy.
Suggested correction: I think the captain's ghost did that just like Francesca had the lit cigarette inside the ash tray.
I amended my entry to reflect your suggestion, thank you.

M*A*S*H (1972)
Revealing mistake: In the swamp during the movie, Frank comes up and talks to Igor, who is running the projector. Although there is a film running, there is no film on either the supply or take-up reels.
