Continuity mistake: As the van starts chasing the goon's car, you can see Hannibal has his rifle ready, the muzzle to the left of his face. In the close up after the thug starts shooting, he says his line, and motions for his rifle from Face.

Character mistake: As Decker talks to a handcuffed Hannibal, he says, "Lieutenant Colonel Smith." Hannibal is a full Colonel, as evidenced by his Class A uniform. He has Colonel rank insignia on his shoulders.

Continuity mistake: As Sybok mentions Sha-ka-ree, his head tilted to his right. On the monitor outside the brig, it's tilted left.

Other mistake: In the fight in Paradise City, the Enterprise people have shields that they didn't have in evidence when they ran out of the shuttle.

Continuity mistake: As the shuttle nears the ship, they stop and are looking at the port side of the Enterprise. Inside the shuttle, as Talbot turns from looking out, the shuttle is pointed directly at the aft section, towards the shuttle bay. The it's back to port to begin the risky maneuver.

Continuity mistake: After Kirk throws the Cat woman dancer, he drops his arms. A second later, they are up again.

Other mistake: As the shuttle craft approaches the planet, there is only a view of the stars, rather than any of the mountains or other scenery.

Continuity mistake: In the opening scene, it is seen that Nimbus III is an arid place, but at one point when Sybok goes to get his horse, there is a flash of blue sky with white clouds. In rest of the scene it's yellow and dust filled.

Trivia: As Scotty holds the bag Uhura brought him, you can see that his right middle finger is missing. James Doohan suffered the loss of it during the war, and so usually kept his hand closed when it was on screen.

Continuity mistake: As the shuttle with Kirk and company nears the shuttle bay, the guide strip lights pulse in a slow, staggered fashion toward the wall. After the angle change, the lights pulse in a faster, smoother succession.

Continuity mistake: After the Global CEO's message for A113 is played, the screen goes to the Buy and Large test pattern logo. As the Captain argues about the plant, the angle changes to Auto, and the Global CEO is on the screen again. (01:05:33)

Revealing mistake: As Air Force One enters the frame from the right, there appears to be a set of tracks faintly visible under it.

Other mistake: When Hawkeye and Trapper make Frank up to look like MacArthur, as they put the pipe in the "sleeping" Frank's mouth, he opens a bit wider, and bites down on the stem, then says his last line of the episode.

Continuity mistake: In the sporting goods store, B.A. is complaining about the darts and gestures with a red one. A second later, it's suddenly wood colored with black fins. As Hannibal makes his point, he gestures with and throws a black finned dart, but in the close up of it sticking through a scuba mask, it has two blue and two red fins.

Continuity mistake: When Remo walks across the wire, he dares the dog to do the same. When the dog does, you can tell he's walking across the top of the wall.

Continuity mistake: The shoes Remo wears look like standard black sneakers when the dog grabs his foot. But when he walks across the wire, the shoes change to a tightrope walker's shoes.

Continuity mistake: As Mac is listening in the CURE office, he's reading through a manual, and his right hand is bare. After a quick cut to the computer screen, the manual is gone and he suddenly has his glove on.
