Question: During the trial, why does Johnnie Cochran state that Chewbacca lives on Endor? It's never said in the Star Wars movies that Chewbacca lives there.
Answer: He doesn't. The whole point of the scene is to satirise legal arguments, in that Cochran is basically talking complete nonsense in order to bamboozle the jury into taking his side, distracting them from the real issue with a barrage of red herrings.
Question: Submitting as a question since it actually may explain something rather than a mistake: In the scene where Prince Humperdink throws the machine to maximum, note Westley's left hand. Did anyone else notice he appears to be holding the tubes attached to his abdominal area? Seems like an odd thing to do (or for the the Count to not notice). Initially I thought it was a production ad lib to keep the tubes from flailing around too much (to prevent damage to either the prop or Cary - or keep it from accidentally getting snagged by the nearby machinery). However, it also seemed to open the possibility that because he is holding the tube, it might be lessening the effect of the machine and may have contributed to the "mostly dead" status. He's holding the tube throughout the scene (not just for the shot where he is writhing).
Answer: It is a natural reaction to grab onto things that are causing pain and try to remove them. The machine causes immense pain and so Westley is trying to remove the tubes, however futile it may be.
Question: Here is something I really don't get. Near the end, Wendy and Kevin find out that Ian was supposed to cause Wendy's death somehow, but Ian would've already been dead. If Wendy hadn't intervened with Ian's original death, Ian wouldn't have been at the fair to cause Wendy's death. Can someone please explain this?
Chosen answer: This is REALLY tough to explain. Ian was NEVER supposed to cause Wendy's death. When Wendy looked at her shirt in the picture, she assumed that Ian was supposed to cause her death. Instead, Wendy was supposed to be crushed by the MCKINLEY sign, following the MCKINLEY shirt. Because Ian's death was skipped, he arrived at the fair, stopping Wendy from going under the sign, thus, skipping HER death. Also, the fireworks weren't supposed to kill Wendy while she laying on the ground, but to kill her while she was SUPPOSED to be under the sign. It was a coincidence that IAN showed up at the fair, and that he was under the sign, and had died. So, Ian was never gonna cause Wendy's death in the first place.
Answer: Well if you look at Ian's death picture he was suppose to be killed by a wood arrow. The sign was just like the flags in the picture. (With the same arrow tip shape). So Ian's death picture really wasn't wrong.
Plus when they are on the train there is a stop called McKinley street she was wearing a mock key T-shirt and was killed on the train.
Question: How did the Executioner zombie get into the shower room? It couldn't have burrowed in like the other zombies because it is simply too big. The cast were standing by the entrance and the Executioner does not appear at the entrance.
Question: In the dentist office scene, Tim almost chokes to death when the toy puffer fish falls into his mouth, but the nurse saves him by pulling it out. Nora should be next, but Tim gets crushed by the glass pane anyway. This is a major mistake on death's list.
Chosen answer: No it simply means that Tim was not supposed to die by the puffer fish. He was meant to be saved so that he could die later. The movie shows multiple instances where someone almost dies, but at the last second is saved. It's a common way to build suspense.
Question: When they realise where Doug is, someone (I can't remember who said it) says, "You can't open hotel room windows in Vegas." Is this true? If so, why not?
Answer: It is true. Its a safety issue. Unfortunately people in Vegas can get a little desperate, and most hotels on the strip are high rises. Someone could lose the rent money or something like that, and jump. Or get drunk and fall out. Most hotels, even in other cities don't have operational windows for safety reasons. I worked for a major strip casino, and we knew of several suicides because of gambling issues, and making the windows non operational helps to eliminate casino/hotel liability. If there are windows you can open, they are usually tiny as to not allow anyone through. Also, its HOT in Vegas, so AC is used most of the time anyway.
Question: In the scene where Malone is shot by Nitti, he crawls to a room and when Ness comes in he finally gets Ness to see the paper about the man coming into the train station. If that information was so vital why was he just roaming around his apartment instead of going to Ness to show him?
Answer: Ness was coming to Malone's apartment to discuss the information with him there, Nitti and his men just got there first.
Question: Why didn't the toys even talk about coming alive and talking to Andy? Seems they were desperate enough for him to play with them that somebody should have considered this option.
Answer: Because they simply don't do that, it's a fundamental rule of their existence. They're played with as toys, not as sentient moving creatures. Plus there's every possibility that Andy would simply freak out - imagine how you'd feel if all your childhood toys suddenly revealed that they'd been intelligent, with lives of their own, all along. Woody revealing himself to Sid in the first film was a unique case to prevent the deaths of more toys, and Sid was a sufficiently disturbed child that nobody would be surprised if he suddenly freaked. With Andy, it's a normal situation that he's simply grown up and doesn't play with them any more - there's no possible grounds for breaking the rules there.
Question: Can you ever see inside the tripod?
Chosen answer: No, the closest we ever get to see is at the end when a hatch opens up and one of the aliens slips out of the hatch.
Question: Was Keenan Wynn actually ill when he made this film, or was that just good acting?
Question: Just wondering, did any of the Friends actors have a falling out while filming the show?
Chosen answer: Probably the only known conflict among them was when Matthew Perry had issues with prescription drugs and alcohol; the other Friends pressured him into seeking help during the series' run. Other than that, it appears the six had a pretty close relationship. They apparently have not all been together in a long time (until the Friends Reunion on MAX), but that's largely due to scheduling issues and that some of them are naturally closer to some of the cast than others. Cox, Anniston, and Kudrow are the closest. Anniston was the one who reached out to Perry the most.
Question: Near the end, before the fair, Wendy is looking at the pictures on the computer, and she sees her picture. The clue is that Ian will cause Wendy's death, but Jason is next to her, and his face is blurred out. Is this another clue to Wendy's death?
Chosen answer: Yes, it is another part of Wendy's death. At the end, on Train 081, Wendy was looking out the window, and the people were blurry, and then Wendy saw Jason's face blurred out in the window.
Question: In the beginning, Richy gets his foot caught in a bear trap. Did Jason put this there or did the people put it there?
Chosen answer: It was left by hunters. Jason doesn't have the mental capacity to set traps for his victims.
Jason had set up an elaborate warning trip wire that rang bells at his house. I am sure he could have set a bear trap.
I agree. Jason has shown to be quite intelligent and even able to carefully plan his attacks so setting up a bear trap wouldn't be hard to do.
Question: I've seen the movie several times now but I still don't know the answer to this: in the beginning of the movie, who kills the two Japanese snipers - zombies or some clones of Alice?
Answer: Based on the sounds to go with the scene, I'd say it is zombies taking the guards out. However, considering following events it is more likely that Alice and her friends have something to do with it.
Question: When Clyde is about to die from the bomb, why didn't he just end the call on the phone he was calling from? He could have probably cancelled the detonation.
Chosen answer: Unfortunately, that wouldn't have done it. Once the phone on the bomb received the signal there was no going back.
Oh, and you know this how?
Because that's generally how cellphone bombs work. Nobody's on the other end to answer it, so it's not triggered by being answered. As soon as any call signal is received, game over.
Question: How did the Terminator manage to find a hotel room already equipped with surgical tools and bandages? Doesn't seem like he set it up with supplies earlier since the first we see is him breaking in via the fire escape.
Answer: He isn't breaking in via the fire escape, hes just using it as a means of coming and going without being seen by the hotel staff, so at any point during the movie, he could have equipped himself with those tools. It is not necessary for a movie to show every intervening action onscreen.

Answer: No. The Alien franchise, which kicks off in the year 2122, depicts a human civilisation in possession of faster-than-light transport and multiple interstellar colonies. The civilisation seen in Avatar, the majority of which is set in 2154, do not appear to have FTL travel, as they take six years to travel to the Alpha Centauri system, a distance of approximately 4.5 light years.
