Question: I don't get how the 'baby' or the 'dire mother' died, all you can see is the mum feeding the overgrown baby.
Answer: These are from the Ghost files from the DVD: The Great Child; One of the strangest ghosts I caught had to be Harold Shelburne, The Great Child. His 3-foot tall mother, Margaret Shelburne, was wildly overprotective of her son, smothering and spoiling him from infancy, and never stopping as he grew. Harold could barely care for himself and as a result, remained in diapers his entire life. Mocked at every term, they sought refuge with a traveling freakshow runned by a man named Jimbo. But even the life in the circus was no escape, as they were continuely taunted and tormented by their own twisted kind. One night, some of the freaks kidnapped Margaret as a cruel joke. In a panic-fueled rage, Harold destroyed the entire carnival in search of his mother. When he finally found her, she had died of suffocation. Filled with hatred, Harold grabbed an axe and had his revenge on the freaks. Displaying what was left of them in the carnival for every paying customer to see. When Jimbo found out what had happened, he had Harold mutilated beyond what you and I can comprehend. Well, maybe you. And you thought your family was weird! The Dire Mother Margaret Shelburne, The Dire Mother, was a shy woman who could never stand up for herself, partly because she rose to only a mere three feet in height. Since childhood, she was stared at for her pint size. Her own mother would even sometimes dress her like a doll. Margaret didn't care, aslong as she found some perverse form of acceptance. A carnival barker named Jimbo put her on display in his freakshow. Life was horrible, being an attraction for people to gawk at. One night while sweeping up a donkey pen, she was raped by the "Tall Man". She spawned a beastily offspring of her own. Oh, she loved her dear son Harold, more than life itself, never letting him out of her sight. The circus workers teased and tormented them relentlessly, a conflict that played itself out with a bloody resolve that left nearly the entire circus free of life.. including poor Margaret and Harold. Well, as they say, "there's no business like show business."
Answer: The 'baby' was an abused mentally disabled man named Harold Shelburne who was abused so much at an old timey circus that when his mother the Dire Mother, who raised him poorly, was kidnapped and killed, he slaughtered the circus. With an axe. Soon after a mob torn him to shreds.
Question: Why is the right field foul pole named after Johnny Pesky?
Answer: Popular Boston Red Sox lore credits the nickname to pitcher Mel Parnell who later became a sportscaster. Pesky had only 6 homers in Fenway Park and all were hit near the right field foul line pole, but never off the pole. The pole is only 302 feet from home plate. The left field foul line pole is named after player Carlton Fisk.
Question: In the credits a character is shown as "2 to 5 / 7 to 9". Who is this character and what is the significance of her name?
Answer: I'm not sure which person you're referring to here specifically, but the meaning is someone who makes a habit of constantly going to funeral calling hours (normally 2pm-5pm and 7pm to 9pm) for morbid entertainment or gossip purposes (elderly ladies, for example).
Answer: In "Proshai, Livushka", she's the person talking to Meadow in the hall, while Tony watches, and says to Meadow, "I'm so sorry about your grandmother." She also appears and is credited in s03e05, "Another Toothpick" and s03e13, "Army of One." In s06e18 "Kennedy and Heidi", one of Tony's men points her out (although refers to her as 3 to 5, 7 to 9) and when someone asks why they call her that, he says "she never misses a wake." Although in this episode, Marie Donato is not credited.
Question: How would Pai Mei have taught the 'five point palm exploding heart' technique to Beatrix?
Answer: She trained with him for a long time.
Answer: She had strength, courage and determination. No matter what he put her through she never flinched. He felt she was worthy of learning.
Question: I'm not sure if anyone has an answer for this, but is it likely that Darth Sidious was always planning to make Anakin his apprentice, even when Darth Tyranus served him?
Answer: From his comment at the end of Episode One, where he mentions watching Anakin "with great interest" and his subsequent dealings with Anakin, it does seem likely that he has something like that in mind.
I think that Sidious/Palpatine had always plans and some back-up plans. As a scheming, plotting individual, he needed to be prepared. My guess is that he was using Darth Maul until Anakin was older. Then Maul was killed by Obi-wan Kenobi, so Tyranus/Dooku was used as a replacement for Maul.
Question: Well it is said that Danny was supposed to commit suicide at the end. But I would like to know for what reason, could anyone give some more detail on this? What exactly is the reason Danny would want to commit suicide in the first place?
Chosen answer: It was the film producers that suggested that Danny commit suicide at the end of the film, some have speculated to give the movie a different spin than the original stage production. However, the writers refused, so he flew off in a Cadillac with Sandy instead. That said, there's very little evidence for anything to do with Grease featuring suicide actually being real, and not just a rumour.
It doesn't answer my question why he would want to commit suicide.
If you listen to the lyrics of Summer Loving, he says that he saved her life. She nearly drowned. Speculation is she was dead the whole movie. That he failed to save her. That may be why he "killed himself."
In the song "Tell Me More," there were lyrics saying "I saved her life. She nearly drowned." The speculation is that he failed to save her and she really did drown. That's why he may have killed himself.
Answer: Danny probably would have wanted to commit suicide because he was heartbroken and depressed because he wasn't who he wanted to be and he knew it. Also because he was influenced by his gang to think that he belonged where he was, which was going against his heart.
Question: Does anybody know what Calypso's yelling when she's finally being freed?
Answer: She says "Malfaiteur en tombeau, crochir l'esplanade, dans l'fond d'l'eau!" which is an incantation in French that translates roughly to "Across all the seas, find the path to he who wrongfully entombed me!"
Question: Is the "Fire Sale" procedure used in this movie a real-world idea or just a movie creation? Could it ever happen?
Answer: It is strictly hypothetical and most likely couldn't happen without having many, many insiders and the best hackers in the world, but even then, who knows if that could be probable in a "Post 9/11" climate.
Question: What type of personality disorder does Mr. Brook have, is compulsive killing part of it, and is it really genetic?
Chosen answer: It sounds like Dissociative Identity Disorder. And I think compulsive killing is something he chooses to do, and not connected to his DID; and from skimming the article, it doesn't appear to be genetic.
Question: When Professor McGonagall turns the bird into a water goblet, what type of bird is that?
Chosen answer: I believe it's a breed of toucan or hornbill. Tropical in origin. Not sure if it's South American or African.
Answer: This bird appears to be a conglomeration of bird parts, not matching any known species. The bill is that of a hornbill.
Question: After Robert and Sophie read the clue that was in the cryptex, Robert says he thinks he knows where she's gone. He says, "I think the Grail has gone home." Why would Rosslyn Chapel be the Grail's home?
Chosen answer: Meaning the grail has been carted all over Europe and never got to rest in one place. Now it has a final resting place surrounded by information on her.
Question: Near the end of the film, why did Vincent arrange to murder Archbishop Gilday?
Chosen answer: He'd been stealing from the Family.
Question: It was said earlier in the show that the Atlantis crew did not have enough power to dial Earth. Earth Control had no idea of the fate of the Atlantis crew until they sent the video package telling them what was going on, then Earth Control sent reinforcements to help out. My question is; if Earth Control was able to send reinforcements to Atlantis to help out, why could they not send a crew to check on the status of Atlantis? They knew the Atlantis crew made it in the 1st episode.
Chosen answer: Because the ZPM allowing them to dial Atlantis was being used at the Antarctic defense outpost. They couldn't risk making Earth vulnerable to attack from Anubis by depleting it with repeated dialing to the Pegasus galaxy. Once they knew Atlantis was in serious danger, they had no choice.
ZPM from Antarctic was depleted in first dial, dial in Siege was done via ZPM from Egypt (SG-1: Moebius Part-1/2).
Question: Near the end of the film, when McClane, his daughter Lucy, and the hacker Matt Farrell are about to leave in the ambulance, there is a sign with the number 5 hanging out of a warehouse in the background - does this mean there will be a Die Hard 5?
Chosen answer: Looks like a standard 5 mph speed sign to me. You can't read too much into that. In addition though, Bruce Willis has already stated in a few interviews that he'd be more than happy to do another one.
Question: Before Burt and Heather are attacked in their basement by the graboid, she puts some bullets and dirt in a machine and turns it on. The machine makes noise and attracts the graboids. What is that machine doing to the bullets and dirt?
Chosen answer: The machine is a vibrating case cleaner, which is used to polish the brass casings of pistol and rifle ammo. The "dirt" is actually an abrasive polishing compound.
Question: Wouldn't Burt and his wife get in trouble for having all the weapons in their house? Even in later movies, there is no sign they got in trouble and Burt continued to have all these big weapons on hand.
Chosen answer: No, there's nothing illegal about any of the weapons they owned. Some of them may have required a Class 3 firearms license, but even this is not difficult (just expensive) for a law-abiding citizen to obtain.
Answer: In some parts of the US, especially in far-out desert towns, home arsenals like this are the norm. There is really no limit on how many firearms or ammo American's can own. Machine guns are illegal, but can be permitted. If you have any semi-auto firearm, it's not hard to convert to a machine gun. Albeit, the firearm will fail apart fairly quickly from the abuse.

Answer: He doesn't kill her because she was the only nice one, whereas her friends( Paige, Lily, etc.) were all mean to him at the beginning.
